On the 20th of June 2020, during the first session of the , Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju offered profound guidance on the virtues of harmony and goodness. A smiling face reveals and happiness. When you approach others with harmony and goodness, you are naturally welcomed by all. Let your presence be a source of peace, showing a gentle and pleasant countenance in every situation. When your heart is calm, your intentions become clear and pure, allowing you to navigate the world with a steady and peaceful mind.
Always maintain a gentle and steady pace; there is no need to rush through your life or your practice. A kind and good heart is the essential foundation for creating harmony with others. When you study the Buddha’s teachings and engage in practice, you must seek the root of all things. This is how your true self is revealed, and how you can effectively spread the to others. You must strive to understand the truth of reality and use your talents to share this wisdom. Life is a fleeting journey; do not let it pass by in vain.
You must work diligently to change the "self," personal ego, and selfishness that cloud your heart. When you identify these obstacles, you must be decisive in cutting them away. This is how you transform your and your destiny. By treating others with harmony and goodness, you create positive karmic bonds. Remember that all things are temporary, like an illusion, and not truly real. Do not cling to the transient nature of the world.
When you face difficulties, help yourself through practice, and you will receive the Buddha’s assistance. By finding your way back to your true self, you ensure that your life’s journey is not wasted. Every day, month, and year should be lived with clarity. Cherishing Time is, in essence, cherishing the life of the Dharma. Once time passes, it never returns. As you work through your karmic bonds, you gradually dissolve the old karma of the past. Within the cycle of Causal Conditions, simply smile and let the moments pass. This record was written by the Buddha's disciple, Venerable HaiZe.
