Have You Truly Awakened?

Children, have you truly awakened?

The Shadows of Unawareness

If you have truly awakened, you will no longer be trapped by the illusions of this world. You will find that your mind is no longer clouded by the following states:

• You will no longer be plagued by drowsiness or mental agitation during your practice.
• You will no longer be tethered by sentimental attachments to your family members, which only serve to bind you to the cycle of rebirth.
• You will no longer find your personal ego and deep-seated habits impossible to transform or change.
• You will no longer perceive the world through a lens of negativity, nor will you dwell on or speak of harmful, unwholesome thoughts.
• You will no longer retreat from the challenges of the path, seek to escape your responsibilities, or succumb to sorrow and grief.
• You will no longer be burdened by the suffering of ageing and illness, nor will you be haunted by fear, anxiety, or insecurity.

The Radiance of Awakening

If you have truly awakened, your life will naturally transform into a vessel for the Dharma. You will embody the following qualities:

• You will grow roots of goodness in every action, ultimately achieving the fruit of Bodhi.
• You will see the good in all things, think only of the good, and speak only of the good.
• You will diligently practise the Precepts (Discipline), Concentration and Wisdom, thereby extinguishing the fires of greed, anger, and delusion.
• You will no longer be prone to anger or outbursts of temper.
• You will find that there is no person or situation that you cannot view with equanimity; you will see all beings with compassion, tolerance, and forgiveness, understanding their shortcomings and needs.
• You will know what is not in accordance with the Dharma and simply refuse to do it.
• You will be fiercely diligent, grasping every minute and second without a moment of laziness.
• You will face and overcome any drowsiness or mental agitation that arises.
• You will engage in truly repented, making a vow to change your ways and ensuring that you do not repeat the same mistakes.
• You will sincerely invite spirits to hear the Dharma and perform

Walking the Path of the Buddha

To remain awake is to live in constant connection with the Buddha. Your practice should be continuous:

• The sacred name of Namo Amituofo will flow through your heart and ears continuously, 24/7.
• You will accept and follow the Infinite Life Sutra (The Buddha Speaks the Mahayana, Infinite Life, Adornment, Purity, Impartiality, and Enlightenment Sutra) with complete faith.
• You will be selfless and egoless, existing only for the sake of all suffering beings.
• Through this, you will eventually rediscover your true self.

Follow the footsteps of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su. Dedicate your life to saving the world, liberating yourself and others, and ensuring rebirth in the Western Pure Land. By widely propagating the Pure Land teachings, you are truly walking the path of Namo Amituofo.
