Have You Truly Understood the Buddha's Heart?

My dear children, the Master and Practitioner Su are working together with one heart and one mind. They are striving to bring the Buddha’s teachings, the practice, the state of an awakened being, the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, and the urgent reality that sentient beings are suffering and waiting desperately for salvation so that they may leave suffering behind and find rebirth in the Western Pure Land, to you.

The Path to True Understanding

These teachings are presented from different angles and perspectives. By looking at these truths from both positive and negative viewpoints, and by examining them through various lenses, the Master and Practitioner Su hope to make the path clear. These teachings are written down in text, and then Practitioner Su uses his voice and speech to express the deeper meanings contained within those words. It is my sincere hope that you can absorb these teachings, truly understand them, take them into your heart, and allow them to guide your actions.

To truly change, you must first save yourself. This is achieved through the Chao Du of the beings residing within your own body. This is the only way to achieve a genuine transformation. By doing so, you allow yourself and the beings who hear the Dharma—including your karmic creditors, attached spirits, and even the demon crowds—to have the opportunity to receive the education of the Buddha’s teachings and the nourishment of the True Teachings. You must understand that at this very moment, I, Namo Amituofo, am truly abiding at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. This is the perfect time for everyone to leave suffering behind and find rebirth in the Western Pure Land.

The Role of Practitioner Su

You may receive the same text, yet when it is explained by Practitioner Su, you may find a different level of understanding each time. Though the theme remains consistent, the insights you gain can be profound. This is because Practitioner Su has reached the state of an awakened being, and as it is said, all Buddhas walk the same path. Practitioner Su understands the deep intentions and expectations behind the words written by the Master and myself.

He observes, urges, and reminds you from the sidelines, hoping that in the shortest time possible, you will truly understand the Master’s intentions with your heart. When you understand, your actions will naturally change, and this will lead to a transformation of your environment.

The Transformation of Heart and Environment

Besides heart-understanding and heart-transformation, the transformation of your environment also includes your own body and spirit, as well as the sentient beings around you, such as your karmic creditors, attached spirits, and demon crowds. Because you have finally understood, these beings also gain the opportunity to change. This change is not merely a fleeting moment; it is a lasting shift because it stems from a heart that has truly understood, allowing you to change your conduct in every action you take.

The Rarity of This Opportunity

My children, if you have truly understood, you must realise how rare and precious your current situation is. It is a moment that is difficult to encounter in a thousand lifetimes. You must cherish every minute and every second. You must take the Precepts as your foundation, understanding their vital importance and upholding them with diligence. It is only by changing your ways in the most subtle and minute details of your life that you can possibly transform your karma. You must continue your diligent practice, remaining active and persistent until you reach the state of an awakened being. Namo Amituofo.
