The messages from the heart of are profoundly sincere and earnest. Every word and every phrase is imbued with a deep, compassionate intent, much like a loving father guiding a child who has lost their way. He gently leads us back to the righteous path, calling out to us to awaken from our slumber. We must not remain lost in the dream of this world, confused by illusory phenomena and trapped in a state of dullness and . It is essential that we educate the fourfold assembly on the laws of and cause and effect and the vital importance of adhering to the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
These teachings from the heart manifest according to the needs of all beings. There are immeasurable and boundless messages that can be shared, and any one of them, when taken to heart, can serve as a powerful tool to save beings. These teachings may be integrated into the formal proceedings of the , or they may be shared as spontaneous guidance during our daily practice.
A question often arises from the fourfold assembly: How can one truly take charge of their own body, mind, and spirit? This question must be addressed at the very root, which is the heart. The heart is the commander; it is what drives the body and the spirit. If your heart is governed by your , then it becomes a heart driven by karma. Consequently, the body and spirit that follow such a heart will also manifest the effects of that karma, making it impossible for you to master your own birth, aging, sickness, and death.
However, if you can take charge of your own heart, you will no longer be swayed by external environments, the weight of your past karma, or even the interference of demon crowds. This is the heart of one who has reached . When the heart is in control, the body and spirit become free and autonomous. Throughout the process of your practice, you will have the opportunity to achieve a state where you do not grow old, do not get sick, and the spirit does not die, ultimately enabling your rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Many people live their lives seeking the approval and praise of others. They build their hopes and their sense of self-worth upon the opinions that others hold of them. This is truly a great loss. It is a path that leads one into an abyss where they can no longer master their own destiny. We must ask ourselves: in all that we do, are we merely listening to the voices of other beings, or are we listening to the true, inner voice of our own heart?
What is the heart of the demon crowds? Their deepest wish is to never be sought out by the laws of karma and cause and effect. If you wish to avoid being confronted by the consequences of your past actions, you must quickly surrender to Namo Amituofo and enter the Western Land of Nature. By doing so, you prevent negative causes from manifesting, thereby ensuring that the laws of karma and cause and effect have no opportunity to seek revenge against you.
How can one avoid the suffering of negative consequences? There is a saying: The Bodhisattvas fear the cause, while ordinary beings fear the result. Bodhisattvas understand the suffering that comes with receiving , and they clearly understand that the root of avoiding such suffering lies in not creating negative causes in the first place. Only by refraining from creating negative causes can one ensure that no evil consequences will ever manifest. In contrast, ordinary beings, in order to satisfy their momentary desires, create the very karma that leads to suffering, which in turn keeps them trapped in the cycle of rebirth.
The teachings shared above are but a few examples. Language and written words are merely tools used to teach and transform beings. If one truly understands the essence of these teachings, then everything becomes naturally clear. You will move forward with a direct and unwavering focus. In that moment, everything is perfectly clear and luminous. When heart meets heart, what need is there for words? This is the state of the Buddhas, the Bodhisattvas, and those who have reached Awakening. Namo Amituofo.
