Nothing is Lacking on the Path to Awakening

On the twenty-third of July, 2023, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju offered these compassionate teachings to all practitioners.

The Completeness of the Path

Do you, as practitioners, wish to remain undisturbed by external environments? Do you desire to avoid becoming drowsy and instead enter the space of true practice? You must understand that at Hsiang Kuang: A Sacred Sanctuary, there is nothing lacking in the path provided to you. Every condition for your success is already present. However, it is essential that you cultivate a heart of diligent practice, a sincere desire to advance, and the courage to achieve breakthroughs in your spiritual journey.

Do not allow your mind to be led astray by the constant flow of thoughts. Do not let your personality traits, such as the desire to win or be right, hinder your progress. Instead, remember that the most wonderful method for growth is to recognise your mistakes and change your ways.

The Infinite Flow of Wisdom

Perhaps you have wondered why you have not yet been able to engage in direct dialogue with Namo Amituofo or with me, your teacher. You must understand that the teachings and the Buddha’s words of Namo Amituofo flow ceaselessly from the original Buddha-nature. This wisdom is bestowed upon all beings equally, and there is truly nothing lacking in the support you receive. The reason you may feel a distance is that you must deepen your faith—faith in the Buddha, and faith in your own potential.

You must commit to the process of purifying the body, heart, and spirit, and then continue with further purification. You must let go of all defilements and attachments that weigh you down.

Opening the Space

Do you wish to open your space to receive messages from the higher realms, yet find that you have not yet succeeded? You must understand that at Hsiang Kuang: A Sacred Sanctuary, the space is open and without obstruction. This is because the Buddha-light and the Buddha-name are present without interruption. To access this, you must:

• Have unwavering faith in the Buddha and in your own true self.
• Cease the habit of continuous thinking, which only leads to a scattered and restless heart.
• Allow the Buddha-light and the Buddha-name to assist in your purification.
• Remove the obstacles within your mind and senses so that your heart may become calm and still.

The Path to Seeing Your True Nature

Do you desire to see your true nature soon, yet find it difficult to move forward? You must understand that Namo Amituofo, myself, and Practitioner Su are here to lead you. The great guides and true spiritual friends are all present, and there is nothing lacking in the guidance provided. If you are diligent in your practice, listen to the teachings, change your ways, and transform your personality traits, you will surely succeed.

By remaining humble and modest, and by transforming your karma through the practice of Goodness, you will be able to advance and eventually see your true nature. This is the path to liberation.
