This interview was recorded on July 29, 2019, at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. The spirit of Steve Jobs, having sought , now resides in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This testimony was documented by the chief writer, Shi Faxin.

Steve Jobs speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. Following Practitioner Su in the process of Chao Du is a daily revelation, a constant source of profound emotion and understanding. Within the Treasure Lotus Pond, the light of gold and silver shimmers incessantly. In the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, the bodies and minds of all beings are translucent and radiant. It is a world of such exquisite beauty that everything one perceives is perfect. In the Western Land, there is no attachment, no craving, no preference, and no suffering. It is a world of pure Goodness. The petals of the lotus flowers are crystal clear, each one emitting a brilliant light that signifies the luminosity of infinite vitality. 24/7, the sound of the Buddha-name chanting resonates continuously, and not a single messy thought arises. Everything is perfect, everything is ultimate .

The Trap of Superstitious Belief

Everyone in the world is pursuing this kind of beauty, and deep within every heart, there exists a piece of this Pure Land. Many people spend their entire lives learning Buddhism while clutching their prayer beads, hoping that the Buddha will come to lead them. Yet, when they encounter obstacles, they beg the Buddha; when they fall ill, they beg the Buddha. They think this is faith, but when they go to extremes, it turns into superstitious belief. When one is lost in superstition, one wants to rely on the Buddha for everything, lacking self-effort, reflection, and the will to change your ways. True faith in the Buddha lies in one's own diligent practice. It is about using genuine practice, step by step, to seek rebirth in the Western Pure Land. It is about dedication, service, casting aside one's stains, and washing away one's impurities.

The Illusion of Worldly Success

A single thought of Goodness can bring harmony to the earth and peace to the nation. Because of one's mind-capacity, there is no calculation or resentment. A peaceful magnetic field allows and mind to be stable; a peaceful heart allows everything to be at ease. This world is far too intense in many places. Everyone is busy for the sake of survival, taking joy in their family harmony or their worldly achievements. For the sake of success, the mind is constantly calculating, and human relationships are filled with suspicion. The aging that comes after a lifetime of struggle is all for the sake of this home and this body. Yet, the moment a doctor announces a terminal illness, one falls into panic. One is gripped by fear and questions: Where should I go after this life? The heart is filled with terror and doubt. After a lifetime of worldly pursuits, one cannot take a single thing away. It is too late for regrets when this body is exhausted. After this life is spent, after tasting the wealth and glory or the poverty and sickness, and the joys and sorrows of the world, one leaves in gloom and loneliness. Death, to this world, is suffering. Separation is sorrow.

The True Home of All Beings

In contrast, to transcend the world is to practice for a lifetime—not for oneself, but to find one's true self and to help sentient beings through diligent practice. It is to reach a state where there are no thoughts, to see through the illusions of this world, and to have a heart that is clear and pure. The more one observes the external environment, the more clearly one understands; the more one sees, the more one understands the every thought and intention of others. By using the most suitable method for sentient beings, one can pierce through their delusions with a single word, allowing them to believe in the Buddha, learn the , and understand the importance of seeking rebirth in the Western Pure Land. A true practitioner allows everyone to awaken from their suffering, to know that all gatherings are merely , and to view all worldly connections with detachment. When the moment of departure truly arrives, one is without attachments or burdens, smiling and freely heading West. Today, Practitioner Su comes and goes from the Western Land with ease, leading vast numbers of sentient beings to the West through Chao Du. Even more importantly, she can save the family members who are drifting in the cycle of reincarnated beings. Practitioner Su's Chao Du lets everyone know that death is not a separation, but a reunion. The Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is everyone's true home. Namo Amituofo is the shared compassionate Father of us all. Do not linger in this world any longer. This world only offers the creation of and the experience of suffer greatly; there is not a single thing worth clinging to. I wish for everyone to walk together toward the West.

Namo Amituofo."
