My children, the human journey is often fraught with immense hardship. Throughout your lives, you experience a constant cycle of and anger, sorrow and happiness, meeting and parting. You are bound by the relentless progression of birth, aging, sickness, and death. This is the nature of the world you inhabit, yet it does not have to be your final destination.
The Hardship of the Human Journey
Many of you have found your way to . By doing so, you have accepted the environment of purification that the Buddha has prepared for you. This path offers a life of purity that is fundamentally different from the worldly existence you have known before. It is my sincere hope that you will successfully embrace these teachings. You must strive to learn, to improve, and to undergo a complete transformation of your being. The goal is to become a Buddha, just as I am, and to carry forward the methods I have taught you. This is the sacred transmission of the Buddha’s teachings.
It is my deepest wish that more beings will follow this path. I desire for you to be free from the constraints of birth, aging, sickness, and death, so that you may live with autonomy, clarity, and true freedom.
The Path of Purification
However, you must understand that this process of transformation is filled with trials. Because this path is entirely different from your previous worldly life, you are required to make significant changes: you must transform the personal ego, habits, and selfishness that you have long relied upon; you must cut off the afflictions and false thoughts that cloud your mind; you must adjust your mindset to align with the truth; and you must be willing to undergo profound breakthroughs in your spiritual practice.
My children, although this path is arduous, if you can achieve , every effort will be worth it. You will be able to live a life that is identical to that of the Buddhas.
The Urgency of Awakening
Yet, you must understand the urgency of this task. You must achieve this before your physical body, which is subject to decay, reaches its end. If you fail to reach Awakening before your body is exhausted, you will have to begin again. Who can say how many lifetimes or how many eons it will take before you encounter such a precious opportunity again? As long as you still have a single breath, and as long as you are willing to chant the name of Namo Amituofo with the utmost sincerity and earnestness, there is hope. You have the potential to return to your true home in the of Ultimate Bliss.
The Promise of Namo Amituofo
I am always by your side. When the time of your passing arrives, I will be waiting for you. If you can offer even one, or ten, sincere and earnest recitations of my name, I will be there to lead you. I will bring with me the lotus flower that you have nurtured and irrigated through your daily practice, and I will guide your spirit back to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Let this physical body, which has served you for decades in this world, finally find its peaceful sleep. Let your true self, the master of your spirit, reside in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, living a life of ultimate bliss, free from the suffering of birth, aging, sickness, and death.
Following the Guidance of Practitioner Su
My children, please accept these words and listen carefully to the teachings of Practitioner Su. Practitioner Su is my messenger in the human world, a manifestation of my presence here to assist you in returning to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. He has descended into this world specifically to help you. You must listen to his guidance so that you may live well in this world and successfully return to the West. I hope that all of you, and all the spirits present, will join together in chanting the Buddha’s name, so that you may all be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Namo Amituofo.
