The Hidden Multitude Within

Within the space of your own body, there are countless karmic creditors. They occupy infinite spaces, each with their own unique 'self,' personal ego, and selfishness. Even within your internal organs and the countless cells of your body, there are beings beyond counting. They, too, carry their own distinct 'self,' personal ego, and selfishness. Because these beings reside within you, their state of mind directly influences your own.

Overcoming the Cycle of Suffering

As long as you still draw breath, you must continue your practice. Even if your 'self,' personal ego, and selfishness are deep-seated and difficult to change, you must not give up. Instead, you must heighten your awareness and advance with courage. Apply your effort and energy with sincerity; do not be casual or careless in your practice. Only through such dedicated effort can you overcome the cycle of aging, sickness, and death. Only then can you rediscover your true self and successfully achieve rebirth in the Western Pure Land.

The Path to True Purification

Even if your past impurities are deep and heavy, you must stop them now. Do not allow yourself to be stained any further. With boldness, perseverance, and firm determination, take each step forward with steady, solid action. Purification is your primary task. When you can truly let go of your worldly heart and mundane emotions, you will be able to take great strides forward on the path to enlightenment.
