In the Buddha’s teachings, we speak of Purity. In the world, we speak of Serenity. While these two concepts may seem similar, Purity is a deeper, more profound state than Serenity. However, both are equally vital for the practitioner on the path to attain Buddhahood. One cannot truly progress without embracing both the depth of Purity and the stillness of Serenity.

Purifying , Mind, and Spirit

Purity refers to the state of being clean and untainted. It involves the comprehensive purification of the body, the heart, and the spirit, as well as the purification of . Serenity is often reflected in our external appearance, yet it also signifies a profound inner stillness and peace within the body. Regardless of how you define them, both Purity and Serenity are essential requirements for success in your Buddha’s path.
