If you can engage in diligent practice while still in this world, you will be able to liberate yourself from the cycle of birth, aging, sickness, and death. By doing so, you will no longer be trapped in the cycle of reincarnation. Instead, you will successfully reach the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, where you can continue your diligent practice, rediscover your true self, and attain the freedom of rebirth in the Western Pure Land.
This is the primary purpose of practice for all people living on this Earth. Reaching the other shore is not merely a dream; it is a tangible goal that can be achieved through unwavering dedication and faith.
In this Five Turbidities and Evil World, people often find their hearts and minds to be unstable. We are easily lost within the and , completely unaware that we have covered our own precious true self. For countless eons, our true self has been hidden from the light of day, trapped in the endless cycle of reincarnation. Furthermore, many people live their entire lives without ever hearing the Buddha’s teachings. They remain ignorant of the existence of their true self and their inherent Buddha-nature. Because of this, they are unable to live a life of clarity and freedom, and they remain trapped in the suffering of birth, aging, sickness, and death.
If you can engage in diligent practice without ceasing, and if you can focus your mind entirely on the sacred name of Namo Amituofo, you will be able to rediscover your true self and your Buddha-nature. By making a sincere vow to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, you will eventually reach the moment of liberation, where you see your true nature and are reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Many people are unaware that the greatest obstacle at the time of death is the interference of . These karmic creditors may manifest as parents, children, family members, or other illusory phenomena of this world to distract you. They will try to pull you into these illusions, causing your recitation of the Buddha-name to be interrupted. Because you may not clearly understand that everything in this world is illusory, you might develop attachments that are difficult to let go of. If you lose your focus and your heart becomes confused, you will lose the precious opportunity for rebirth in the Western Pure Land.
Only the sight of Namo Amituofo manifesting before you to lead you to the Western Pure Land is real. Only by following Namo Amituofo can you be safely led into the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Alternatively, if you rediscover your true self and attain self-mastery, you will no longer be limited by the cycle of reincarnation. Like Practitioner Su, you will be able to save yourself and save others, moving freely back and forth to the Western Pure Land. Namo Amituofo.
