Bearing the Suffering of All Beings at All Times, Thus Inviting the Presence of Amitabha Buddha
Heart, Vows, and Actions Follow Amitabha, Spreading Throughout Space and the Dharma Realm
People in this world often feel a deep sense of unease. Their hearts are restless, constantly searching for something to hold onto. But how can one truly find peace in such a turbulent existence?
Many people attempt to find this peace by looking outside themselves. They seek reliance in external things, hoping that these will settle their hearts. However, if you find such reliance, you must understand that it is merely the result of Causal Conditions. These connections are simply threads of cause and effect that pull you along in the cycle of rebirth. They are not the permanent refuge you seek.
Consider the nature of these worldly bonds. They manifest as family members, relatives, or friends. Yet, when the time comes to depart from this life—whether through old age or illness—you must eventually say goodbye. This entire life is but a fleeting dream, a passing shadow. Where did you come from, and where will you go? Whether you travel to the east, west, north, or south, the spirit remains adrift. You may search for it, but you will find no permanent home. You are left only with memories of the past, clinging to what is already gone.
So, how can a practitioner find true peace? You must change your direction. Instead of looking outward, you must look inward. The ultimate reliance is found within the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. It is there that our compassionate father, , settles our hearts and provides the refuge we seek. By turning your focus toward the Buddha, you align yourself with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
Your heart is a precious treasure. It has the potential to hold the Buddha, and indeed, it has the potential to become the Buddha. It can be empty of all forms, yet it can contain the entire universe. When your heart is clear and luminous, all obstacles will shatter. Your true self will be revealed, and you will naturally enter the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is the path to leaving suffering behind and finding true happiness.
