Those who can serve the masses with a sincere heart, without resentment or regret, are truly wise. This is the conduct of one who possesses virtue, , and a vast mind-capacity. When you serve others, you are not merely performing a task; you are manifesting the qualities of an awakened being.
To serve the masses is to understand the principle of "I for everyone, and everyone for me." This is the reality of a world where all beings are one, having realised their true nature. This world of oneness is not distant; it exists right here:
When you reach this state, you will find that there is nothing weighing upon your heart. You will maintain a cool, clear, and tranquil mind at all times, focusing your thoughts solely on the well-being of all beings. By cultivating a kind heart and a gentle countenance, you will naturally forget yourself in the act of service. In every thought, you will be chanting , keeping the Buddha in your heart as you move through the world.
