Time flows like a rushing river, slipping through our fingers before we even realise it. We often fail to notice how quickly the years vanish. If you do not take the initiative to change your personality traits, you will inevitably be swept along by the currents of your own . When you lose the ability to be the master of your own life, you become a prisoner to your past actions.
The aging of happens in silence, hidden within the steady, relentless ticking of every second. When you finally notice the signs of age—when you feel that your heart is willing but your physical strength is failing—you must realise that the person you are today is no longer the person you were in the past. This is a crucial moment for reflection.
When you are practising at Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, you must be honest with yourself. If you discover that you are no longer moving straight ahead, or if you find yourself stuck in a state of stagnation, you must pause to examine your path. If you feel that your actions are not aligned with the truth, or if your heart is not at peace and you are suffering, it is a clear sign that something has gone astray.
There is likely something in your practice that is not in accordance with the . Do not persist in your stubbornness, as this only brings harm to yourself and to those around you. Instead, you must immediately cultivate a heart of shame and repentance. You must swiftly turn your focus back to the right path.
Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is a place where truly abides. Because of this sacred presence, the laws of karma and cause and effect manifest with remarkable clarity and speed. All disciples must be extremely cautious and never become careless. If your Body, Speech, and Mind have deviated from the truth, or if you have committed errors or transgressions, you must act without delay: raise a heart of sincere shame and repentance, acknowledge your mistakes with full honesty, and swiftly correct your course to return to the right path.
Your practice at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre should not be limited to the narrow confines of your immediate surroundings. You must broaden your perspective to encompass the vastness of existence: the six realms of existence, including the human world; the spiritual realms that exist beyond our physical sight; the Demon Realm, which seeks to distract us from the truth; and the entire galaxy and the infinite universe, far beyond our own Earth.
You must open your heart and cast your gaze far into the distance. Let go of the false sense of self that keeps you trapped in your own and . Do not remain obsessed with your personal attachments and subjective experiences.
You must be diligent in chanting Namo Amituofo and work tirelessly to change your personality traits. When your and virtues are complete, and when your heart has reached a state of pure, unblemished goodness, you will be able to fulfil your wish to realise your true nature and travel freely back to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. If you find that you have drifted off course, you must immediately raise a heart of shame and repentance and swiftly turn back to the right path. Enter the correct track, move straight ahead, awaken your Buddha-heart, rely on the Buddha-vow, and follow the Buddha-actions. Namo Amituofo.
