Bearing the Suffering of All Beings at All Times, Thus Inviting the Presence of Amitabha Buddha
Heart, Vows, and Actions Follow Amitabha, Spreading Throughout Space and the Dharma Realm
Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju reminds us of a timeless wisdom passed down by our ancestors: "No one is a sage or a saint; who among us can avoid making mistakes? To know one's mistakes and have the courage to change your ways is the greatest goodness." This is a fundamental truth for every practitioner. To acknowledge your errors, to admit your faults, and to resolve never to repeat them is the hallmark of a truly virtuous person. You must be brave enough to face your own shortcomings directly. Only by doing so can you find the opportunity to change, to break through your current limitations, and to continue your journey forward on the path of practice.
At Hsiang Kuang: A Sacred Sanctuary, the rewards of good and evil are both distinct and incredibly subtle. Because this environment is so pure, even the slightest movement of the mind is magnified. If you are unaware or unobservant of these subtle movements and commit a fault, or if you are aware of a fault but fail to change your ways, the evil consequences will manifest quickly. You will find that your Body-Mind-Spirit will suffer greatly. It is vital to understand that these consequences are not imposed upon you by external forces; they are the direct results of your own actions. Therefore, the most effective way to avoid suffering is to strictly uphold the and listen to the teachings of the Buddha.
The Buddha-land is a place where abides. It is a sanctuary protected by the Teacher and Practitioner Su, serving as a space of extreme purity and goodness. In this environment, the distinction between good and evil, and between clarity and impurity, is exceptionally clear. You can observe this directly in the situations of your own Body-Mind-Spirit. The purpose of practising in this Buddha-land is to assist the fourfold assembly of disciples in entering a state of pure goodness. You must strive to become purer and more virtuous, for only through this process can you realise your true nature.
Those who have realised their true nature must be absolutely pure and absolutely good. Your heart cannot contain even the slightest trace of filth or darkness. The fourfold assembly of disciples must be willing to face their most authentic selves. You must look deeply into the most hidden problems within your heart—those areas of filth and darkness that you usually cannot see. Only by doing so will you have the opportunity to sweep away the dust, remove the grime, and wash your heart clean to see your true nature. This is the essential work of diligent practice, and it is where you must focus your efforts to achieve true progress. Namo Amituofo.
