The Ancient Demon's Surrender

This is a record of an interview with Mo Hongyu, an ancient demon from the Milky Way who has existed for 740 billion trillion years. He sought Chao Du at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia and now resides in the Western Land of Dharma Nature. This interview was recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fa Hui, on March 25, 2026.

Mo Hongyu speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. The Milky Way is an incredibly vast space, filled with countless stars and planets. Compared to the sheer scale of the galaxy, the Earth is nothing more than a tiny, insignificant speck of dust. If the Earth is so minuscule, you might wonder why I, Mo Hongyu, would bother bringing my demon kings and my vast legions of demon children and grandchildren all the way here to cultivate in China. Let me tell you: for many billions, even trillions of years, ancient demons who have visited this land have been absolutely delighted with it. They brought this news back to our origins, hoping to encourage more demonic beings to come to China to develop. It is not just about increasing our demonic power; more importantly, it is about consolidating the influence of demonic forces from the same region. By doing so, we could achieve much greater development here in China.

The Lure of the Middle Kingdom

In the Milky Way, I have witnessed countless planets being enveloped by golden light under the immense power of Practitioner Su’s salvation. Even back then, Practitioner Su’s skills were already extraordinary. He would always bring Namo Amituofo and the Twelve Lights to shine with brilliant radiance. Do not be fooled by the sheer number of demonic beings on a single planet; under the countless manifestations of Practitioner Su, the magnetic field of an entire planet could be purified in the blink of an eye.

At that time, I was deep in a state of profound meditation. As an ancient demon of the Milky Way with a history of 740 billion trillion years, meditative concentration is a skill I must possess. I was meditating in a space of black water on a planet that was half-demon and half-light. I had been in that state for nearly ten trillion years. I felt that the path of the demon realm had reached its end, and the only thing left was to return to this path of meditation and leave my fate to the heavens. As for whether I could survive, that depended entirely on the blessings I, Mo Hongyu, had accumulated.

A Shock from the Void

How could I have known that one day I would be shaken by a massive beam of golden light from the outside? It turned out to be Practitioner Su, radiating the Twelve Lights of Namo Amituofo, which completely overturned the entire planet—including the black water space where I was residing. I was jolted awake from my meditation by this vibration, and I quickly became aware of everything that had transpired over the past few years.

I could not help but develop an intense curiosity about the Earth. After all, I had spent such a long time in the Milky Way, and in all that vast expanse, I have never encountered a figure like Practitioner Su. Now, it sounded as if the Earth was just a tiny, insignificant planet. How could it possibly give birth to and nurture a practitioner like Practitioner Su, who possesses such inconceivable power?

The Strategy of a Demon

This made me want to investigate for myself. As it happened, a powerful demon lord from the Milky Way who had already established himself in China sent out a message, calling on everyone to join his camp. I had a sudden inspiration: why not go with the flow and head to China to see for myself? That is the story of how I, Mo Hongyu, came to appear in China. Soon after, I established my demon palace in the Zhejiang region. I felt that Zhejiang was a decent place, so I followed the trend of the demonic crowds in China and simply picked a spot to build my palace.

Although building such a demon palace is not an easy task, for me, Mo Hongyu, it was merely a casual whim. What mattered to me was observing how Practitioner Su delivered demonic beings in China, and seeing how the various demon lords would react. That way, I would know how to proceed. That was what I was thinking at the time.

After arriving in China, I gave orders to my demon kings and my demon children and grandchildren: 'Everyone, just play around in China and have a good time. Do not feel any pressure.' They were all a bit bewildered, wondering what had gotten into their old master, giving such aimless orders. But they were long accustomed to my style; after all, they were the juniors I had raised, so they soon began to enjoy themselves immensely.

The True Buddha Appears

In this land of China, I quickly observed that there was no truly bright force capable of contending with the dark and evil demonic power. Therefore, from an energy perspective, demonic beings should have been able to thrive here. Sure enough, my demon kings and their followers found many people to control within a very short time, and everyone was having a grand time managing their affairs. I felt that this was not bad at all, so I entered meditation in my demon palace, quietly waiting for Practitioner Su to arrive.

Soon, Practitioner Su appeared in the sky above the land of China. Through his countless manifestations, the immeasurable and boundless golden Practitioner Su radiated the Twelve Lights. The scene was so shocking that I had absolutely no desire to resist. I only knew to think: 'Ah, Practitioner Su is a True Buddha!'

After all, being able to accurately judge the situation is the behavior we demonic beings should have. If you encounter a practitioner who is more skilled than you and capable of subduing you, and you still insist on jumping with rage or putting up a desperate struggle, that is what a fool would do. I, Mo Hongyu, would never do such a thing. This is something I have always taught my demon children and grandchildren.

A Change of Heart

Therefore, as soon as Practitioner Su appeared in China, he swept through the spaces of every province. No matter what kind of demon palace it was, it was reduced to nothing by Practitioner Su’s Twelve Lights. In the Zhejiang area, there were many demon palaces. Of course, not every palace was built to be easily spotted; some were indeed in very inconspicuous spaces. As far as I know, there were at least a dozen, but the actual number was even higher. However, not one could escape Practitioner Su’s Dharma eye. In a very short time, I followed Practitioner Su’s deliverance and entered the Western Land of Dharma Nature at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.

Only after arriving here did I truly understand what this force, which had made the demon realm tremble with fear, was all about. It turns out that it is led personally by Namo Amituofo, along with Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju and Practitioner Su. These three Buddhas lead the 'Namo Amituofo Salvation Team' to allow the seeds of the True Teachings to take root, sprout, and grow strong on Earth. Their purpose is different from us demonic beings who want to control humans and gain energy. Practitioner Su hopes that everyone can truly be the master of their own lives, the master of their own bodies. Moreover, Namo Amituofo shares all his energy through this name, 'Namo Amituofo,' with all those who sincerely chant it. This is truly a magnificence that I, Mo Hongyu, had never witnessed before!

The Path to True Peace

Practitioner Su has gone to great lengths to save the sentient beings of China. Because Practitioner Su has been a person of great cultivation and virtue throughout countless lifetimes, his Dharma affinity with this land of China is extremely deep. This time, knowing that the Dharma affinity was ripe, he specifically manifested as a laywoman in order to save a vast number of beings, practicing in a low-profile manner to realise his true nature and attain Buddhahood.

When I, Mo Hongyu, learned of this, I could only clap my hands in applause! Practitioner Su is truly a high master; he knows the mentality of us demonic beings like the back of his hand. Who would have thought that in a simple family in Taiwan, a lay practitioner could silently cultivate, follow the teachings, and realise his true nature to attain Buddhahood? This is something we demonic beings would never have noticed.

Among the demonic beings in our Milky Way, there are actually quite a few who possess good roots. For me, Mo Hongyu, I have great admiration for those demonic beings who can insist on the principles of Goodness, preferring to suffer a loss or take less profit rather than abandon their integrity. What I saw Practitioner Su do here in the Dharma-Nature Land was to endure the demonic crowds of all of China uniting to cast spells to attack his body, causing him to suffer from extremely serious symptoms. Yet, I could feel that Practitioner Su’s heart was truly without a single regret, without a single complaint, and he was even more actively delivering us Chinese demonic beings. When I realised this, I was truly conquered by Practitioner Su’s virtue. If a human can do this much for us demonic beings, I truly feel there is no reason to continue to oppose him, let alone attack him.

This is why I am now receiving the illumination of the Buddha-light here in the Dharma-Nature Land. My demon nature is fading bit by bit, allowing the Buddha-nature in my heart to be awakened; only then could I have such an understanding. I hope that the demonic beings who are still causing trouble in China will quickly put down their demonic work. Regardless of anything else, the most important thing is that you must absolutely not cast spells to attack Practitioner Su again. It would be better to come directly to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to see what the situation is for yourself.

You will realise that you were truly wrong and that you misjudged the situation, because Practitioner Su is genuinely helping us demonic beings. Like me, Mo Hongyu, I am now living a very peaceful and happy life in the Western Land of Dharma Nature. I have everything I need, I lack nothing, and I am filled with Dharma joy. Here, we even have the opportunity to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

The six-character name possesses supreme merit and power. This is now the most precious sentence for me, Mo Hongyu, and it is my most basic daily practice. I chant the Buddha’s name with great joy, grateful to Namo Amituofo, and grateful to Practitioner Su for saving so many demonic beings.
