The Sky Within

When the sky is clear, it is accompanied by a brilliant, expansive blue. Does your heart also reflect this clear, empty, and luminous state? When the sky is dark, it is covered by a heavy, black curtain. We must ask ourselves: is our heart also stained by the darkness of ignorance and attachment? We must strive to keep our inner sky as bright and open as the heavens on a cloudless day.

Maintaining the Light of the Buddha

To keep your heart clear every day and every moment, you must maintain a state of emptiness and purity. When you are free from the clutter of worldly concerns, every matter becomes clear and understandable. By keeping the Buddha-name of Namo Amituofo with you at all times, you receive the constant Buddha's blessing. In this state of purity, there is no darkness, no old age, and no death.

The Destination of Eternal Peace

Let Wisdom always accompany you, bringing peace to your body, mind, and spirit. When you live in this way, you are walking the path toward your true home. The Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is your final destination, where you shall dwell in eternal light. This message was recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Venerable HaiZe.
