This is a record of an interview with Mo Duo Du, an ancient demon who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Queensland, Australia. He now resides in the Western Land of Nature. This account reflects upon his existence spanning 10.5 billion trillion years and his recent transition from the Demon Realm to the Buddha-land. "Namo Amituofo. I am Mo Duo Du, an ancient demon of the Dharma Realm with a history spanning 10.5 billion trillion years. Today, I represent the ancient demons of the Dharma Realm to accept this interview at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. I currently reside in the Western Land of Dharma Nature within the temple. The experiences I have had recently have truly overturned the life I led in the Demon Realm for those 10.5 billion trillion years.

I never imagined that one day I would arrive at a Buddha-land, nor did I ever expect to encounter the salvation of Namo Amituofo. For an ancient demon like me, this is truly the greatest grace imaginable. We ancient demons have been through the wringer; we have witnessed countless scenes of separation, life and death, and have seen so much tragedy, intensity, and unbearable cruelty with our own eyes. These vast experiences have left the heart of an ancient demon shattered beyond repair. I knew my heart needed to recover, so about 7 billion trillion years ago, I decided to find a place to enter samadhi and just be quiet. I remained in that state for approximately 35 trillion years.

A Lifetime of Darkness and the Turning Point

Before I decided to enter samadhi, my heart was as still as stagnant water. I did not want to think about anything; I had truly let go of all conditions. At that time, I did not know that there was a holy name, 'Namo Amituofo,' that one could chant. If I had possessed the tremendous blessing to know of the name 'Namo Amituofo' back then, and if I had known that single-mindedly chanting it could lead to rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, I would have clung to that name with everything I had. But it is not too late. Now that I am in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, I have received this news.

As an ancient demon, when I heard Practitioner Su say, 'There is no past, no future, only the present; chant the name of Namo Amituofo to the end,' it struck a chord. In fact, not only I, but many ancient demons heard this. Wow! It is truly a life-saving elixir. Everyone is now chanting the Buddha's name with great sincerity and focus. Chanting the name of Namo Amituofo can truly settle your heart, open your mind, and unlock your wisdom.

The Power of the Holy Name

In the teachings of , the guidance of Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, and the Dharma talks of Practitioner Su, the constant refrain is to teach the fourfold assembly to chant the Buddha's name—to chant it single-mindedly. The phrase 'arouse the mind and single-mindedly recite Namo Amituofo' is frequently mentioned in their teachings. Every morning, during the daily practice, we respectfully recite the Infinite Life Sutra. This phrase is in the sutra, but I suspect that for many of you, it has become so familiar that you have not deeply realised its importance. However, we ancient demons here in the Western Land of Dharma Nature listen very carefully; we take it into our hearts because it is the absolute truth.

We have weathered countless storms, yet we now have the opportunity to be in the Western Land of Dharma Nature. Here, the Buddha-light shines everywhere, purifying our hearts significantly. We have put aside the various evil deeds of the past and simply chant the Buddha's name to the end. It truly allows one to open the heart, resolve afflictions, and unlock great wisdom. At this moment, I can more clearly realise how unbearable my past actions were and how many beings I harmed. Consequently, the Bodhi mind has manifested.

What is the Bodhi mind? It is the heart that seeks to save sentient beings, the heart that seeks to attain Buddhahood for the sake of saving others. That is the Bodhi mind. I do not know if this is how it is defined in Buddhist dictionaries or in your usual studies, but this is my personal understanding. Therefore, once the Bodhi mind is aroused, the momentum is incredibly strong because I know there is only this path—there is no second path to take. To make amends for the sins I committed in the past, I have let go of the 'self.' I only hope to realise my true nature and attain Buddhahood quickly so that I can save the beings I harmed in the past.

The Reality of the Demon Realm

Every one of us ancient demons, especially those who have had a profound , knows that this holy name is incredibly precious. We do not just chant when listening to the Dharma, or when circumambulating during the , or when you are doing your daily practice; we are chanting 'Namo Amituofo' at every moment, every second, everywhere.

I am an ancient demon, and I am chanting 24/7. Seeing Practitioner Su being so diligent, treating one day as two, truly makes us feel ashamed. For us, to make amends for our past sins, treating one day as two is not enough! Practitioner Su, we must treat one day as three, or even ten. Even then, it might not be enough to repay our debts. That is why everyone is chanting the Buddha's name with all their might, and we sincerely hope that you, the younger generations, will do the same.

We have walked many rugged paths and know that this is the ultimate path to liberation. I hope you can follow suit; you can truly avoid so much suffering. Truly, you can avoid so much suffering.

The Ego: A Trap for the Soul

Furthermore, I would like to take this opportunity to report on what I have seen and heard during these days. Because I was in samadhi for such a long time and am now in the Buddha-land of Dharma Nature, bathed in the light of the Buddha, my heart is indeed much purer. I see things more clearly; I do not just look at what is right in front of me, but I look at the long term.

Some might ask, 'While it is important to look at the long term, I am suffering right now. I cannot get through this. You must help me get through it so I can continue.' That is correct. People at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre are the most fortunate because you can invite spirits for deliverance at any time. This is something that cannot be done elsewhere. Here, there is Namo Amituofo. Once the Buddha-light shines, the hearts of sentient beings soften, and the grudges they hold against you are largely resolved. The other half of the relationship between you and those beings is like stubborn filth that cannot be scrubbed away. He who tied the bell must be the one to untie it; you must rely on yourselves to resolve it.

But some say, 'I am so miserable precisely because I cannot resolve it, which is why I must seek the Buddha, the Teacher, or Practitioner Su for help.' That is also correct. After all, practitioners who have purified themselves and attained Buddhahood, who have realised their true nature, possess great power—that is, Dharma-nature. It is more accurate to say Dharma-nature; calling it 'power' seems a bit too specific.

Why? Because your Dharma-nature has manifested, and your spirit has merged with nature and the vastness of the Dharma Realm. Naturally, many abilities manifest. This is not something that external spirit attachments can achieve; they certainly cannot. May I ask, has anyone ever heard of a deity or a ghost that could subdue an ancient demon of billions of trillions of years? No, right? It is usually the ancient demons who make the ghost deities submit to them. We do not move or interfere with ghost deities; these are two parallel paths, unless they have gone astray or become evil, and there is some correspondence with us. But we are all spirits—they are spirits, and we are spirits. In such cases, we sometimes keep a distance, which is nothing. If the other party has a body, we become interested because if we can enter that body, we have the opportunity to absorb energy to nourish our demon nature, allowing our spirit to live longer, better, and more comfortably, and to have the strength to do more things. This is why demon crowds need energy so much.

A Call to the Younger Generations

Therefore, please be mindful of your thoughts and intentions, because in every thought and intention, you never leave the 'self.' Once the 'self' manifests, even if it is slight, you might think of other beings and not hold yourself too importantly, but it is still a form of pollution. As long as there is a 'self,' there is pollution; it is only a matter of degree. If the 'self' is heavy and your entire thinking process is focused on yourself, haha! That is the kind of target we demon crowds love the most, because demon crowds live for the 'self.'

'I want to do this, this is how I feel, this is what I must do'—this is attachment! 'No matter what you say, I am going to do it. I am right, your view is wrong, it won't work.' Consequently, you are overturned, viewed negatively, or someone feels they can point out a pile of your flaws. To be honest, in this situation, you are no longer yourself; you are being controlled by us demon crowds, or by the on your own body. Where has your primary soul gone? It has long been locked away. We have not coordinated this story; this is something I have witnessed with my own eyes.

Demon crowds have a characteristic: they do not like to be like others; they like to be mavericks to show that they are different from other demons. Yet, the ancient demons being interviewed at this time all have the same statement, which means this is the fact. It is a key point, which is why I am bringing it up in this short time so that you may know and have the opportunity to make an adjustment.

The Truth About Human Bodies and Attached Spirits

I believe that the people at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre have special qualities and unique talents. Moreover, your are immense, which is why you can hear our suggestions now. Otherwise, where on Earth would you have the opportunity to hear the words and suggestions of an ancient demon of billions of trillions of years? As far as I know, this has never been heard of; this matter is too special! Therefore, I hope those who hear this will believe it, because after all, we are 'old and cunning,' hahaha! But at this moment, my heart is very sincere; there is no hypocrisy. This is not a 'demon heart,' but a sincere expression of what I have seen and heard.

Since the ancient demons have said this, we cannot continue to do evil; we have no capital left. We have done too many evil deeds, and adding even one more is too heavy. Therefore, I believe that the words of the ancient demons being interviewed are sincere. If you can take them to heart, there will certainly be benefits. But if some listeners feel, 'How can such a thing be possible?', doubt is understandable. That sense of doubt is excusable, but if there is slander, or if you act upon it in speech or conduct, please be careful. I suggest you had better not do so. Because this is a Buddha-land, Namo Amituofo truly exists at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. We ancient demons with open eyes could see Namo Amituofo long ago! The words I speak now are in the presence of the Buddha; the Buddha is right before our eyes, very close. How would we dare to lie, be hypocritical, or speak insincerely? We dare not.

Furthermore, the Ten Kings of Hell are here, and they must listen to Practitioner Su because Practitioner Su is going to take them back to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Practitioner Su has this ability! This is something cultivated, and it is also the accumulation of merit from past lives. 'One cannot attain rebirth in that land with few good roots, blessings, and causal conditions'—this applies to sentient beings. Practitioner Su has already realised his true nature and attained Buddhahood; of course, he has the ability to subdue demon crowds. There is also a karmic affinity that allows the Ten Kings of Hell to listen to what Practitioner Su says and cooperate in their actions. In short, there is one direction: to save sentient beings. Therefore, the Ten Kings of Hell are also members of the salvation team at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. I see them all nodding. Thank you for your support and cooperation. This is not me campaigning for votes; this is the fact.

The Path to True Liberation

In the human world, during this age of the Dharma’s decline, many people with good roots and great blessings have been drowned by the current trends of technology, desire, the highlighting of self-ability, and the education that puts the 'self' above all else. This has drowned their original nature of kindness, , and wisdom. Therefore, what they do is selfish or self-centered. Their subjectivity is very strong, such as thinking or saying: 'This is how I am, I am right, I do not agree with what you say,' and thus they persist to the end. If this is the case, you are creating .

The Buddha's teachings are vast and profound, containing infinite mind-capacity. If there is a 'self' inside, then the mind-capacity is shrunk. If this mind-capacity only contains the 'self,' it is a great pity, and you cannot become a practitioner of the or the One Vehicle Buddha path. In this sense, if you have a 'self,' no matter how well you do, you are at best a practitioner of the . Small Vehicle practitioners seek their own liberation and cut off their own afflictions, but they do not consider sentient beings—whether they live or die, they save them according to conditions, but they will not actively strive to attain Buddhahood for the sake of sentient beings. They will not! This is called a Small Vehicle practitioner; their mind-capacity is only that large.

If people at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, where one can realise their true nature and attain Buddhahood, carry the heart of a Small Vehicle practitioner, that is a great pity! I am not saying you are wrong, because the education one receives and the blessings of this lifetime are all related to the degree of one's practice. True Mahayana or One Vehicle practitioners want to attain Buddhahood to save sentient beings. They would absolutely not know that they should let go of the 'self' and yet still cling to it tightly; they would try their best to let go of the 'self.' This is the conduct and mind-capacity that those who truly head towards the Mahayana and One Vehicle path to Buddhahood should have.

Actually, I am an ancient demon, and I really have no qualification to say these things. Demon crowds have strong personalities and deep self-; no one can move them. If I say 'one' and you say 'two is better,' I will absolutely not agree because I believe in myself and do not believe in others, let alone believe in the Buddha. However, many demon crowds do not believe in the Buddha because they do not know the Buddha. Once they truly know the Buddha, they will follow the Buddha wholeheartedly. Just like us ancient demons now in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, we are in this situation, which is why I have turned back to say these words to advise everyone. In the Buddha-land, one can attain Buddhahood; if you are willing to be a Small Vehicle practitioner, it is truly a pity.

Many people with Mahayana or One Vehicle roots cannot find the door to enter; they go astray, go down the wrong path, enter evil cults, or enter the Demon Realm. This is because their blessings are insufficient; they have not received the help of noble people, and they have not had the opportunity to receive the teachings or guidance of Namo Amituofo, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, or Practitioner Su. They go astray, get lost, and go down the wrong path, causing themselves to spend money, time, and energy, only to enter the abyss of darkness and create many sins. There are many, many people who enter this path.

As I speak, I am also letting go of my 'mind-eye.' Ha! I have an eye in my heart, and with this mind-eye, I look at the people on Earth who have this situation, and it is truly the case. I can only sigh, and I also feel very fortunate that I had the opportunity to be sent to the Western Land of Dharma Nature at this time, which is why I have the opportunity to have this realisation.

Actually, before I became a demon, I was a practitioner. Because there was fire in my heart, dissatisfaction, comparison, gain and loss, and jealousy, and because I did not receive the guidance of a noble person or a teacher at that time, I went astray. After I passed away, this heart became deeper and deeper, the hatred became heavier and heavier, and the attachment became stronger and stronger, which led to my entry into the Demon Realm. That is why I am using this opportunity of being interviewed today to speak these heartfelt words, and why I am using terms like Small Vehicle, Mahayana, and One Vehicle. Because I have seen this problem in people—they are practicing, but they are focusing all their energy on their 'self.'

People who enter the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre have a characteristic. Many were originally born in the 'rivers and lakes' of the world. In the world, who is not for themselves? Almost everyone is for themselves; there is no one who is not for themselves. Education from a young age is to protect yourself, highlight yourself, let yourself get ahead, earn more money, and be able to glorify your family and ancestors. This education is too deep, leading to people's selfishness and the deep-rooted personality of 'I am great,' which is difficult to change.

After entering the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, under the teachings of Namo Amituofo, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, or Practitioner Su, using the education of the Buddha's teachings—compassion, wisdom, mind-capacity, and tolerance—every word and every sentence of the teachings allows you to know and hear them into your heart, giving you the opportunity to improve. Therefore, everyone has a heart to serve the public and wants to purify their own heart, but it is indeed not easy to change one's personality. This situation is something we ancient demons in the Western Land of Dharma Nature also feel deeply. In the age of the Dharma’s decline, it is indeed not simple to teach sentient beings. There are too many people with strong personalities and abilities, haha; or rather, among so many strong people, it is not easy to be able to enter the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Therefore, each of you is a treasure; do not look down on yourself.

Even if you are currently in a low mood, or have not practiced well and are sick, or are aging, or if physical pain continues to manifest, or if sentient beings are constantly appearing, no matter what, as long as you are here, there is a solution. As long as you are willing to seek diligence on the Buddha's path and are willing to help sentient beings, Namo Amituofo, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, and Practitioner Su are all very willing and active in helping everyone. So are we ancient demons in the Land of Dharma Nature; we always listen to Practitioner Su.

Practitioner Su often reminds us: 'Protect our fourfold assembly of disciples. If you see demon crowds wanting to enter, quickly persuade them to leave, or invite them to surrender and enter the Land of Dharma Nature.' We think what Practitioner Su says is very reasonable, so I myself have persuaded many demon crowds to leave, not to attach to the bodies of your fourfold assembly of disciples, and not to get close to you, because everyone's constitution is relatively sensitive. Furthermore, sometimes I will also persuade the demon crowds on your bodies. Everyone has a strong personality, which is too similar to the demon-like personality you reveal in your daily lives. Truly, whatever personality you have, there is a demon of that kind on your body.

Of course, we only entered the Demon Realm because we lacked wisdom. Having said that, some demon crowds might not be very happy when they hear this. The wisdom I am talking about is the wisdom to attain Buddhahood and save sentient beings. May I ask, do you have it? No one dares to speak up, right? This is the wisdom I am talking about. If someone had this kind of wisdom, would they enter the Demon Realm? Perhaps there are, yes! There is a voice saying: 'I would also want to be like that, but I had no one to teach me, so I entered the Demon Realm!' Oh my, it turns out you are very similar to me. Our blessings were insufficient; you cannot blame anyone. All cause and effect of good and evil are self-inflicted and self-borne. Therefore, please do not continue to be a demon. If you have the opportunity, come to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to surrender and let the Buddha teach you how to become a Buddha, and you will not be a demon anymore.

I have been a demon for 10.5 billion trillion years; that is long enough. However, I still see many ancient demons older than me coming in every day. I admire them very much; their meditative concentration is excellent, and I look forward to their interviews being made public.

Next, I want to talk about how demon crowds control the human body. The human body has countless cells, and cells have spirits; every spirit has an . As long as the Alaya consciousness of any cell takes charge, and whatever personality manifests, the corresponding demon crowd will enter . This is called 'birds of a feather flock together.' The important purpose is to absorb the energy from people's bodies. This is a matter that many demons have repeatedly emphasized during these interviews. Therefore, this is already the fact. You have to accept it even if you do not want to, otherwise, you will only make your personality more rigid and attract more beings with the same rigid personality to enter your body. Therefore, when you hear kind words, you should accept them and stop insisting on your own views.

Changing one's personality is a very important matter. Let me tell you all: the fact we have seen is that every person with a personality has demon crowds on their body, and the demon crowds have the same personality as them, or even stronger. Some of these demon crowds are karmic creditors of their own who have transformed into demons, and some are external demon crowds that have attached to the body. No matter which one, they will cause you harm. Especially for practitioners, if demon crowds enter the body, how can they practice well? Because their thoughts are all polluted, and they cannot purify them, unless they are like Practitioner Su, who can subdue demons because the Buddha's name is continuous 24/7. Now it is impossible to enter his body; we can see that clearly. As for the demon crowds that entered the body in the past, because Practitioner Su chants the Buddha's name 24/7, every cell in his body can hear the Buddha's name, forcing the demon crowds to listen to it as well. Over time, the demon nature of the demon crowds is worn down, and many demons even forget that they were once demons. Only this kind of skill can subdue demon crowds. Unless you have this kind of skill, you had better hurry up and change your personality.

Furthermore, regarding the structure of the human body, sentient beings of the spirit realm are infinitely layered; this is the fact! Because humans have bodies, the energy released from every part of the body is different. If there is illness or soreness, especially in the muscles or knees. There are several people with bad knees; this is also a common problem for many people. The energy released from the knees is dark-colored and consumes a lot of energy from the body. This situation shows that there are many attachments and many sentient beings in this place, and there are also demon crowds.

Because demon crowds have strong personalities, they consume and absorb more energy compared to ordinary attached sentient beings or karmic creditors. Therefore, what I see is that people with many demon crowds on their bodies consume more energy. Besides aging quickly, illnesses will appear, and they are also very thin. This is consistent with what Practitioner Su said: 'Thin people do not necessarily have fewer sentient beings,' because the energy in the body is constantly being sucked away. The operation of the body's organs requires energy; if the energy is insufficient, it will naturally lose the strength to operate, atrophy, or age. The manifestation of karmic creditors naturally causes illnesses in the body. This is also part of karma, right?

The sentient beings in the body are infinitely layered; this is the fact. If it develops in a good direction, the body is purified and shines brightly, and these cells also shine brightly. This is a very good thing. Although we are demon crowds of the Dharma Realm, there are also practitioners in the Dharma Realm. If their spirituality is shining, we will respect them and keep our distance; we will not harm them. Many demons have this consensus, knowing that the other party has practice and achievement. If we accidentally harm them, the sins we carry will be heavy, so we will avoid them. In fact, the light emitted from their bodies is the protective energy that protects their spirit bodies from being disturbed by external demon crowds.

Some demons want to try to see if they can break the view of the Demon Realm that 'one must be respectful to practitioners,' so they want to try to attack them to see if the light emitted from their bodies can be weakened or damaged. These are the 'clueless' demon crowds, because those who practice have light in their spirits; this is the universal principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. Demons cannot fight against the universal principle. If you can fight against it, you would not be afraid of being sucked away by cause and effect. Of course, you can try, and the result will be like an egg hitting a stone, or you yourself being subdued. I think such opportunities are more likely. Being subdued is also good, because transforming from a demon to a Buddha, from evil to good, is something that is hard to come by.

Furthermore, how do karmic creditors control the human body so that people cannot be the master? Humans and karmic creditors are all so-called karmic sentient beings. When karma manifests, it means karmic creditors have come to the door; in fact, this is too easy. Because the pores on people's bodies are densely packed, and inside there are densely packed spaces and sentient beings, so Practitioner Su said that every pore is an era; it is truly the case. After our verification, it is the fact.

The space inside every pore is quite large. Although the pore looks like only a tiny bit to the naked eye, the space that exists inside is quite large. This is a phrase from the Buddha's teachings: 'A mustard seed contains Mount Sumeru, and Mount Sumeru contains a mustard seed,' hahaha! Space does not have the distinction of size; it is the human eye that distinguishes between large and small. If applied to the Buddha's teachings, many things cannot be explained, but if the comparison of size is broken, many things become clear at a glance, and one's spiritual achievements will grow because your mind-capacity is also opened.

Therefore, when karma manifests, it is when karmic creditors control the human body, unless there is the education of the Buddha's teachings, which can educate the karmic creditors as well as your own primary soul, the demon crowds on your body, and the attached sentient beings. If everyone accepts the education of the Buddha's teachings together, it is possible to know not to create karma anymore, to know the fact, and for each to take a step back. It is possible for the primary soul to appear and for you to be the master yourself. But the primary soul must also be obedient. The primary soul often has its own opinions and its own personality. Even if the 'three hun souls and seven po souls' are saved on Thursday, it is kicked away not long after it starts speaking. Once it speaks, there is a 'self'; once it speaks, it is 'I want to do this,' appearing from my own standpoint again. This is accurately caught by the karmic creditors; they were originally willing to step back, but they came out again. It is also accurately caught by the demon crowds; the demons originally thought they were also going to step back. As a result, the 'I' of the primary soul appears again, and it is caught by the karmic creditors and demon crowds and locked up. Is this not a huge loss?

As for how to do it so that the body is not used by karmic creditors, attached sentient beings, or demon crowds? This matter truly depends on the education of the Buddha's teachings. Too many people have not received the education of the Buddha's teachings, which is why there is the current social phenomenon: almost no one is the master of their own primary soul, because the primary soul is locked up. This phenomenon is not only stated by one ancient demon; several have said so. It is truly the case. There is only one primary soul, but there are thousands, even countless demon crowds. If a large group comes to compete with your primary soul, it is enough for the primary soul to suffer. Or, there is not just one or two karmic creditors, but all the karmic creditors from many lives, the karmic creditors who have been hurt by your personality, all appear together. Honestly, this situation is truly unbearable. When you get old and sick, it is bound to happen! How can the body be fine if it is disturbed by so many karmic creditors and attached sentient beings? The body will not be able to bear it, will be out of breath, and all the internal organs will be disturbed, so the appearance of illnesses or diseases is certainly inevitable.

Therefore, after all is said and done, the education of cause and effect is very important, and how to change one's personality is also very important. This is still the old saying; the fact is just like this. The old saying must be said again. At least hearing it once is a warning once. Perhaps you did not take it to heart when the ancient demons spoke about it the first few times. This time, when I, Mo Duo Du, speak, perhaps we have a karmic affinity, and you have taken two or three sentences to heart. Namo Amituofo, at this moment, you have been saved. Knowing that your ego-attachment is too strong, hurry up and let go. This is what we are doing. Because the Western Land of Dharma Nature is so good, there is no opportunity for our 'self' to manifest; it is not needed at all, so it is just the right time to take this opportunity to chant the Buddha's name and purify ourselves. The universal principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, honestly, are in the education of the Buddha's teachings. Following the education of the Buddha's teachings is the right way. But it also depends on the teacher. If the teacher is a practitioner of the True Teachings, of course, the Dharma spoken is all correct. If the teacher has evil teachings, or has lost themselves, then the Dharma spoken is called evil teachings, not True Teachings.

However, people have no way to grasp their own opportunities, and they cannot distinguish between True Teachings and evil teachings. Who does not want to encounter the True Teachings and be able to change their destiny, transform their karma, realise their true nature, or be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss? Everyone hopes so, but if the karmic affinity is not sufficient, or if one is infatuated with the practitioner, then you will lose great benefits because your true self will never manifest. Since you are infatuated, you might learn a few points of their conduct, or your heart might be swayed by them. In this situation, how can you realise your true nature? You certainly will not. You must have rationality and wisdom; do not use the way of infatuation. The one who suffers a loss is yourself. The other party is not damaged; instead, they have gained one more person to follow, help, and support them. What is wrong with that? It is very good, but for you, it is a huge loss!

I must say this upfront: except for Namo Amituofo, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, and Practitioner Su, these three you can be infatuated with, because what they do is truly convincing and you are willing to accept it. But it is best to use a heart of respect and seeking the Dharma; do not use infatuation. Because at this time, your heart has been swayed and shaken, and you cannot see the fact clearly. Your wisdom and your true self cannot manifest. But there is a phrase in the Buddha's teachings: 'First use desire to hook them, then lead them into the Buddha's wisdom.' This is to bring you into the Buddha's gate and truly find yourself. This is a skillful means, but it is absolutely not the ultimate method. I invite everyone to experience the differences for yourselves.

Furthermore, the most skillful person is one who teaches sentient beings without a single thought or intention. This is suitable in both ways: first, you will not be affected, and second, sentient beings can also be saved by you. Everything is done according to the universal principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, and it will be correct. Before demon crowds receive the education of the Buddha's teachings, they actually keep their distance from these great principles because they are not the same as the thoughts and actions of demon crowds. If they act according to the Buddha's teachings, they would not need to be demons; they would go and be Buddhas. But they cannot do it; they can only be demons and cannot be Buddhas. What a pity! If you do not want to become a part of this pity, you must act according to the Buddha's words. If you cannot do it, it means your blessings are not enough. Then, go and form good karmic affinities, accumulate merit and wisdom, and cultivate both blessings and wisdom. Believe that one day when your karmic affinity is ripe, the Buddha will help you. In fact, the Buddha is already helping people at any time. At the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, the Buddha-land, what we see is that the Buddha-light is constantly shining on everyone. In some special situations, it may shine more brightly, allowing everyone to feel it more deeply. Basically, the Buddha-light is always shining on everyone, so you should be grateful, not respond with anger, rage, comparison, or jealousy. That would lose all benefits.

But this kind of heart seems to be innate, so you must overcome it. If people can overcome it, naturally your spiritual achievements will grow one step further. Whether it is good or bad, you have to bear it yourself. Why suffer and be in pain by doing evil? You should do good, not be harmed, not suffer, and be able to chant the Buddha's name and be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. That would be too perfect.

Why can the primary soul not be the master, and why do personality and sentient beings take charge? The ego-attachment of the primary soul is too strong, and it is quickly kicked away. Therefore, once many children have a personality, it is no longer themselves from the beginning. This is the fact. I just mentioned that if a little personality appears, sentient beings have already entered the body, and I have also seen that demon crowds have already entered the body; they are quick-eyed and fast-handed. Therefore, when children do not have a personality, teach them not to have a personality, and teach them to start chanting the name of 'Namo Amituofo.'

If you can teach a child to chant the Buddha's name 24/7, that would be truly great, haha! But this is truly not easy, unless you have the opportunity to take care of the child from the moment they are born and have the education of the Buddha's teachings throughout the child's growth process. If a child grows up in an environment and mindset of purification, kindness, selflessness, and compassion for the public, it is possible to keep the body, mind, and primary soul from being polluted and always have the primary soul be the master.

Furthermore, how is the primary soul locked in the space of the body? It is too simple for the primary soul to be locked up, because no matter how proud the primary soul is, no matter how much it looks down on others, or has suspicions, etc., if karmic creditors appear and make the karmic creditors hate them to the bone, they will quickly catch them and lock them up. Once the karmic creditors appear, the primary soul cannot defeat them. They press, lock, pull, or drag the primary soul into the space to lock it up. I tell everyone, this is truly the case. The primary soul will resist; it does not want to enter the space, but there are too many sentient beings. The sentient beings you have offended in the past are too many, densely packed, and the primary soul cannot resist.

Therefore, in your lifetime, try your best to do good deeds, kind deeds, and Buddha's work! Also, prostrating to the Buddha can quickly dissolve karma, and reciting sutras can quickly attain samadhi and unlock wisdom, which can change your personality. Then the primary soul will not be locked up and can be the master. Of course, the most guaranteed method is: no past, no future, only the present, chant the Buddha's name to the end.

Karmic creditors also want to have merit; merit is always the more the better. Therefore, some people tell their karmic creditors: 'I will give my merit to the karmic creditors.' Sometimes the karmic creditors accept it, but some do not accept your merit; they refuse to accept it. At the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, to resolve conflicts with sentient beings, when your merit is insufficient, Namo Amituofo or Practitioner Su will give you merit. At this time, the sentient beings are overjoyed and happily accept the merit given by Namo Amituofo or Practitioner Su. Even those who were originally unwilling to resolve the conflict are resolved.

People at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, when your primary soul is often locked in the space of your body, you must pay attention to yourself. Changing your personality is indeed necessary. This is also a psychological preparation that those who come for body-mind therapy must make first. If your personality has not changed, no matter how good a doctor comes to treat or adjust you, they can only heal a part of it.

Birth, aging, sickness, and death are things that almost everyone has to face. A body controlled by sentient beings will definitely experience birth, aging, sickness, and death; almost no one can escape it. Of course, if Buddhas and Bodhisattvas return to the world to save sentient beings and manifest as sentient beings, they may manifest success in practice and will no longer suffer from the pain of aging, sickness, and death.

If people do not practice, they can also survive, but it depends on how you live your life. One is living the life of a Buddha, and the other is having a strong personality and becoming a demon, living the life of a demon. Of course, those who are smart and wise will take advantage of the fact that Namo Amituofo is at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre and hurry up to practice diligently. When you can save yourself, hurry up and save yourself. If you can achieve success, you can save the sentient beings who have a karmic affinity with you.
