The Cycle of Rebirth and the Power of the Buddha-Name

The Endless Cycle of Rebirth

We take on a physical body, life after life, caught in the tangled web of the six realms of rebirth. The cycle of birth and death never ceases, and we have been frequent visitors to the hells, leaving only to return again. Because we have failed to transform the "self," personal ego, and selfishness, we enter and re-enter these realms, forgetting the lessons of our past lives. We are often lost in the confusion of our own habits, unable to see the path that leads to true freedom.

The Inconceivable Power of the Buddha-Name

Yet, there is hope for those who were once trapped in the depths of the hells but have now attained a human life. This transformation is possible because of a single thought of Namo Amituofo. When the sound of the Buddha-name arises within our hearts, we are liberated from the suffering of the hells. The power of the Buddha-name is truly inconceivable; it acts as a beacon of light in the darkest of places, guiding us back to the right path.

The Path to Awakening

Where will this body and this life lead us? It is a great blessing to encounter the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss in this lifetime. Practitioner Su has stepped forward to offer salvation, using the power of an awakened being's Dharma Body to rescue all sentient beings from their plight. The students of Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre share a magnificent affinity with these teachings. They have the rare opportunity to hear the Buddha's voice and understand the true meaning of the Dharma. If you can fully embrace these teachings, you will be liberated from all suffering. You will realise your true nature, enter the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, and be transformed into a Buddha.
