The Demon's Confession: From Control to Deliverance

This is a record of an interview with the ancient demon Mo Jiesheng, who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Land of Dharma Nature. This account reflects upon his existence spanning approximately 826 trillion years. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fa Hui, on March 24, 2026.

Mo Jiesheng speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I am Mo Jiesheng. As an ancient demon from another realm, I have spent quite a significant amount of time on this land of China. From my name, the Alien Demon, you might have already guessed that my appearance is somewhat unique. It is true; both I and my demon children and grandchildren look quite different compared to the demons native to this Earth. But let me tell you, there is nothing wrong with that. In China, we found a perfect environment to operate. We specialise in controlling those people who are obsessed with the concept of equality. To put it more simply, these are the people who love to argue about logic and fairness, constantly saying things like, 'Everyone else is like this, so I should be like this too.' Whenever someone cannot truly appreciate and accept the differences between themselves and others from the bottom of their heart, that person becomes a target for us. I, Mo Jiesheng, along with my demon children and grandchildren, would personally go and take control of them.

The Art of Controlling the Human Mind

For most people, it is incredibly difficult to truly and honestly accept their own flaws or the ways in which they differ from others. This mindset is actually extremely damaging to them because we, the demon crowds, can easily exploit such attachments. We slip into their bodies with ease, becoming their 'best friends'—or so they think. In China, there are so many people like this. This meant that the number of humans I and my demon children and grandchildren could manage was vast. After arriving on this land, we found life in the human world to be quite delightful. We had so much room to operate, and our demonic power grew significantly.

I established my demon palace in Hainan. In that popular tourist destination, I built it high and proud, right in the middle of the dense crowds, without any attempt to hide. You could say that everyone who came to Hainan for sightseeing and shopping became a target for me. The numbers were staggering, and naturally, more people kept coming. Some even enjoyed it so much that they brought their friends back for a second visit. So, in Hainan, my operations were quite successful. I did not have to spend much effort at all to control a massive number of humans. However, perhaps that palace was a bit too flashy; it was visible to the spiritual realms at a single glance. When Practitioner Su began his large-scale Chao Du operations in China, he discovered my palace almost immediately. It came as no surprise when, under the twelve lights emitted by Practitioner Su, my palace was reduced to nothingness.

The Fall of the Hainan Palace

At that moment, my heart was filled with profound grief. That palace represented the hard work and dedication I had poured into my mission since arriving from my home realm. But after the palace collapsed, Practitioner Su did not stop there. He continued to cover the entire Hainan region with his countless manifestations, sweeping up me and all my demon children and grandchildren in one fell swoop. Before we even knew what was happening, we were sent to the Western Land of Dharma Nature.

Honestly speaking, if I had not spent time listening to the Dharma in the Dharma-Nature Land, I would never have realised the heavy sins I had committed. It is true that controlling humans is a simple task, but it carries with it karmic retribution that must be repaid. It is all part of the laws of karma and cause and effect. Day after day, as I listen to the Dharma in the Dharma-Nature Land, I feel more and more repentant and ashamed. How could I have been so ignorant back then, committing so many sins? When I was in the Demon Realm, such thoughts never even crossed my mind; I was always busy with demonic affairs. Now, here in the Dharma-Nature Land, bathed in the Buddha-light, my demon nature has been greatly reduced, allowing me to reflect on my actions.

A New Perspective in the Dharma-Nature Land

Now I know that it is a blessing that I was delivered by Practitioner Su into the Western Land of Dharma Nature. Otherwise, I shudder to think what kind of situations I would have faced in the future. I sit on my lotus seat, very honestly chanting 'Namo Amituofo' and listening to Practitioner Su’s Dharma talks. Most importantly, I watch how Practitioner Su performs Chao Du for our people in China. Wow! The sense of awe I feel here in the Dharma-Nature Land is unlike anything else. It turns out that Practitioner Su is simultaneously present in every province, every location, and every space throughout China, using his countless manifestations to emit light and shake the earth, bringing demon crowds from every space into the Western Land of Dharma Nature.

So many demons are terrified, yet they have no power to resist. The power of the twelve lights is simply too strong! Most importantly, Practitioner Su brings Namo Amituofo along to perform the Chao Du. Such a lineup is truly formidable; it is no wonder we demons have no ability to resist. I have seen many demon palaces that were hidden extremely well, yet Practitioner Su saw through them at a single glance, instantly emitting great light and reducing them to nothing. So many ancient demons, primordial demons, demon kings, and their demon children and grandchildren have been deeply shaken. Most of them were delivered into the Western Land of Dharma Nature before they could even react.

Witnessing the Unstoppable Power of Deliverance

It is so fast, so magnificent, and it continues without pause. Yet, even with all this, the demon crowds in China have not been fully delivered, which shows you just how many demons have been controlling that land. It is truly beyond words, impossible to count! Practitioner Su’s heart for delivering these beings is one hundred percent sincere and one hundred percent earnest. Whenever there is an opportunity, he continues to deliver the demon crowds of China. It is no wonder that so many ancient demons and primordial demons in China are frantically trying to attack Practitioner Su, hoping to stop his work. But so far, it has had no effect; instead, it has only caused Practitioner Su’s power to continuously increase.

I can see that even when Practitioner Su is attacked and interfered with by the demon crowds, no matter how severe the situation becomes, he never stops his steps of deliverance. Practitioner Su even said, 'I am very valuable!' Wow! That is truly a heart-stirring force. It has provided tremendous encouragement to the fourfold assembly of disciples who have also been attacked, affected, and are suffering under the influence of the demons. I have seen some of the fourfold assembly who were almost at their breaking point, but upon hearing Practitioner Su’s words, they learned to say that they too are very valuable, and slowly, they managed to overcome another difficult hurdle.

I can only say that practising in the Buddha-land is truly not easy. To be able to act under the concrete guidance of the Buddha and Bodhisattvas to save the world, to take on the suffering of beings, to truly overcome one’s own personality, to overcome one’s own physical sensations and pains—this is a true test of the compassion of the fourfold assembly!

A Call to My Fellow Demons

I, Mo Jiesheng, can clearly understand why the ancient demons and primordial demons of China keep attacking Practitioner Su. For many of the fourfold assembly, when they are suffering intense pain, their only reliance is to listen to Practitioner Su’s words and to trust him. If Practitioner Su were to fall, these disciples would naturally have no use. However, I see that these ancient demons are also quite helpless. They keep thinking, 'Why does Practitioner Su never fall?' Instead, they are the ones on the verge of collapse. As long as Practitioner Su stands firm, the salvation work of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre can continue. I must say, Practitioner Su spends a massive amount of time inviting spirits for the sake of the fourfold assembly, which does have some impact, but fortunately, Practitioner Su possesses great Wisdom and always resolves these problems with ease.

Watching so many demon crowds from China obtain deliverance brings me great Dharma joy. This is truly a Causal Condition that is difficult to encounter in millions of years. Now that everyone has arrived in the Dharma-Nature Land, many have shaved their heads—haha, it is completely different from before! If the demons who knew us before saw us now, they probably would not even recognise us. As they say, Appearance arises from the mind. Here in the Dharma-Nature Land, the hearts and actions of us demons are becoming more compassionate day by day. This is a blessing we can only receive here in the Dharma-Nature Land; if we were to leave, we might lose it. Understanding this, I, Mo Jiesheng, cherish this even more, focusing on chanting 'Namo Amituofo,' followed by another 'Namo Amituofo.'

Practitioner Su’s Chao Du operations for China will continue with great force, and I am very much looking forward to what happens next. Regardless, one thing is certain: the demon crowds of China are truly being saved. This operation to capture demons in China is comprehensive, and the Chinese people will gradually be able to feel their bodies and minds becoming clearer and clearer. If, at this time, they can receive the precious Dharma teachings of Namo Amituofo from the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, as well as the guidance of Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, it will be like a refreshing nectar poured over their heads, giving those who are waking up or not yet awake a chance to become completely clear.

Now, I, Mo Jiesheng, continue to chant 'Namo Amituofo' in the Dharma-Nature Land, waiting for the opportunity to be of service. I also call upon the ancient demons and primordial demons of China: do not be stubborn anymore, otherwise, the harm to yourselves will be immense. Come quickly to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to seek refuge. Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su will help us.
