The Demon's Web: A Revelation of Digital Control

This is a record of an interview with the ancient demon Bate, who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Dharma-Nature Land. This account reflects upon his existence spanning approximately fifteen billion years. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fa, on July 3, 2024.

Bate speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I am Bate. We live in an era of technology, but it is also an era where human nature has become demonised. We demon crowds have arrived on Earth, and you could say we are flying everywhere. Some of us drift in the mid-air, waiting. Once a human body appears that we can control, we quickly rush into it and begin a series of operations.

The Mechanics of Possession

We take control of the brain, manifesting countless illusory images. Every one of these illusions is designed to entice the person we are controlling. In this way, we force their brain waves to emit signals of 'liking' or 'wanting.' Once the brain sends out such signals, it naturally drives the body to act, initiating the patterns we want them to perform.

You can see the people we control; their eyes are always dull and vacant. That is our masterpiece. We suck their energy away bit by bit, leaving their whole body depleted. We do not let them notice this physically; we covered up their senses, making them unresponsive and unaware of external sounds or events. Of course, besides controlling the human body, we also control their spirits. Only then can we truly master the vessel.

The Digital Trap

Consider a man who, ever since he bought a computer, became deeply attracted to everything within it. He developed an intense curiosity and buried himself in his research. The computer contained so many different fields, and the man was so excited that he chose his favourite area and dove headfirst into it.

Under this control, the man developed even more attractive online spaces. He felt he was perfectly suited for it and found a job that made him very happy. Currently, no one realises that everything is arranged by us. This man is just one of the pawns we created to maintain control.

With this man, we developed a carpet-bombing strategy. We realised that using a human body to create things that attract others is the fastest way to control humanity, and it is the method people are least guarded against.

The Architecture of Desire

For people today, the internet has completely integrated into their lives. So much of their existence is tied to technology. This 'binding' is exactly what traps humanity. It is not that we are doing this intentionally; they are quite willing. It is their desires that make them willing, and even more so, it is their emptiness, boredom, and loneliness that drive them to fill these feelings with the internet, step by step. It is a way of escaping and refusing to face the reality of their lives.

Across the entire Earth, we have built more and more territory, and our reach is incredibly vast. Online games and online information are operating in a dense, web-like fashion. We have integrated various forces, intending to occupy the Earth. Now, nearly ninety-five percent of people have our demon crowds present within them. Depending on their level of dependency, our control varies, but the ultimate goal is to demonise humanity.

A New Strategy for a New Age

This method of operation is very novel; we have never used it before. That is why we need to control many children, turning them into 'demon children and grandchildren' to help us. I can satisfy whatever these children want in their hearts. Whatever they desire, I give it to them, as long as they help me expand the scope of our control.

I come from beyond the heavens, so I am not that familiar with this planet, but ruling it is my goal. If you look at it from a distance, Earth is actually not very big, but it is beautiful. It is precisely because humans think they are the masters of the Earth and believe they are so remarkable that they have given us the opportunity to insert ourselves into the gaps.

We have gained a sense of achievement in this process of control, and this feeling keeps us going. We have observed Earth, and indeed, it has changed a lot over the years. The whole society is becoming more progressive and civilised. Yet, we see that the more progressive they become, the more humans crave, desire, and even become greedy.

The Harvest of Human Corruption

We are just waiting. When human character becomes sufficiently corrupted, our demonic power increases. Humans are our greatest helpers. The internet is currently our largest platform for operation. We control humans, and many of their consciousnesses are within our grasp. Now, we have many puppets around us that we can manipulate; these people sold their own souls to us. They walked this path themselves, and we are, of course, willing to receive them.

Manipulating the weaknesses of human nature is what we have always done. Human nature still has its bad and inferior sides, and that is exactly what gives us the opportunity to strike. We inject dark power into technology, making humans dependent without them even knowing it.

Setting up this control cycle on Earth is our pride. Now, looking around, one technological product after another has been recruited by us, with many spirits attached to them. In different technological products, we place different forces. We use these forces to pull in other corresponding spirits.

The Ultimate Vortex

Our largest control product is, of course, the mobile phone. I see that everyone carries one. We have placed our extremely strong demonic power within them. The reason this power is so great is that it was created by human desire. It is like a dark vortex, continuously pulling human souls inward. The force of this pulling is something humans simply cannot resist. This was created by grasping onto the thoughts and desires of human nature.

Because people have these empty desires that need to be filled, we use all sorts of things to fill them. Our tricks of control are becoming more sophisticated and faster, and the market keeps opening up. The age group we control is constantly dropping. We are quite proud and enjoy it immensely. Soon, when humans push technology to even greater heights, that will be the time for us to fully unleash our demonic power. By then, the 'demon children and grandchildren' we have cultivated will become great demons. The whole world will be in our grasp. Just thinking about it makes me feel everything is too perfect. I truly cannot wait for that day to arrive.

The Light of Deliverance

The entire 'demon web' stretches across the whole world. Without us, human life might not be so interesting or exciting. So, in a way, they should thank us. We brought them fun, and for some, it has become the focus of their lives. But just as we were enjoying our achievements, a force completely different from ours shone upon us. The entire space was purified by light. We could not believe what this power was.

As soon as this power shone down, many demon crowds were unable to move, and some even vanished into the light. We were surprised by this change because we had never encountered it before. We instinctively chose to dodge first. We thought we were safe, but we did not expect the light to continue shining upon us.

Our whole bodies began to feel a sense of coolness. This feeling made it impossible for our demonic power to be unleashed. Many demons were taken away, and I was very curious about where they went.

The Final Surrender

As a demon from beyond the heavens, I was not willing to admit defeat when faced with such power. I led my demon legion to attack the light that was illuminating the Earth. We covered it with our black power, trying to suppress the light. But what we did not know was that the power of righteousness could be so great. We could not even get close to the light before we were completely covered by it.

This was the first time we had encountered such a scene, so we sent an even larger group of demons to surround Practitioner Su, attacking with all our might to try to make an impact. But in the end, we were all sucked into the light by a tremendous force. This light made our whole bodies feel so cool. It turns out this Buddha-land can purify us completely.

After entering the Buddha-land, some of our demon crowds thought they still had a chance to act out, but when they wanted to do evil, they saw themselves throughout their many lives. In the images, they saw themselves constantly reincarnated. They reincarnated until they became demons, creating immeasurable and boundless karma. We asked ourselves, how can we repay this? The Buddha is compassionate; he did not blame us for the karma we created and even allowed us to continue purifying ourselves in the Buddha-land. We are grateful for the compassion and acceptance of the Buddha and Practitioner Su, which allowed us all to be reborn."
