The Digital Demon Empire and the Web of Control

This is a record of an interview with Modina, an ancient demon who has existed for 4.4 billion years. He sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia after being apprehended by Practitioner Su. This account details his role in the 'Digital Demon Empire' and his perspective on the manipulation of humanity. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fajing, on July 3, 2024.

Modina speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I am Modina. When I was still within the digital space, I learned that Practitioner Su had begun to perform Spiritual Deliverance on us, the demons of the internet. I was instantly filled with rage—a fury that burned like a wildfire. I vented all my anger upon the humans we controlled, causing them to become even more obsessed in an instant. Some became so deranged that they began to harm themselves and the friends and family around them.

At that time, I truly wanted to ask: is Practitioner Su capturing us demons simply to save those who are already drowning in the illusions of the internet? Or is he merely trying to destroy our demonic power? Does he intend to ruin the Digital Demon Empire that we have spent so much effort building?"

The Architecture of the Demon Empire

"I describe our entire network as a 'Demon Empire.' The internet is filled with demons—every conceivable type. Among the vast number of demons, each has a unique personality, different demonic powers, and distinct preferences. Consequently, the targets we seek to control differ as well. Of course, a common situation arises when a human possesses multiple traits or desires that appeal to different demons. Once such a person enters the internet, they are simultaneously controlled by multiple demon kings, each manipulating a different desire or temperament. In such a state, this person becomes far more obsessed than others, unable to extricate themselves, because they are being interfered with by too many demonic forces.

Our Demon Empire is incredibly powerful; it was fundamentally impossible for any human to enter and cause destruction. So, when I heard that Practitioner Su had entered our domain to launch an attack, I was initially astonished, and then I turned to anger. I felt it was outrageous that he would do such a thing to us. We had no prior dealings, and we did not infringe upon one another. Why would he act in such a way? I was utterly confused and unable to comprehend it."

The Great Harvest of Souls

"To protect our Digital Demon Empire, we certainly could not sit idly by. We could not allow Practitioner Su to simply destroy our empire. It was an opportunity we had waited billions of years for—a golden chance that had finally arrived. Every day, it felt as though we were holding a massive fishing net in the world. Once the net is cast, we immediately capture a vast number of fish—big fish, small fish, the old, and the young; we catch them all.

When a spirit is captured by us, we do not merely use that spirit to enhance our own demonic power. We also control their human body, interfering with it and using it to carry out all sorts of deeds we desire. The things we do using their bodies are, of course, never good. They are always actions that cause them to suffer more and create karma. When their bodies suffer, their spirits suffer even more, yet no one notices. People assume they are just having fun playing on their computers, completely obsessed. They do not realise that these individuals are actually in great pain—even the victims themselves may not know it. They have lost themselves, living in a state of delusion and stupor every day. They only know how to be obsessed, only know how to play; in truth, they have no idea what they are actually doing."

The Suffering of the Family

"We are well aware that the humans we control are not the only ones suffering; their families are in even greater agony. Family members watch helplessly as their loved ones sink deeper day by day, becoming less and less like themselves. No matter how anxious the family becomes, it is useless. The people sitting in front of the computer, staring intently at the screen, are completely deaf to the calls and counseling of their families.

Why can these people not hear? It is very simple: because we are sitting upon their hearts and upon their heads. We control their Six Roots, their Body, Speech, and Mind. Naturally, we can make them hear nothing. Even if they do hear, those words will not have any effect on their hearts. The only effect it has is to make these puppets feel annoyed and angry at the voices of their families. They erupt in fury, lashing out at their relatives, which only serves to further deteriorate their family relationships.

Can you see it now, based on that description? Once a spirit is captured by us, it is not only the person we control who is affected; their families are also collateral victims. An entire household falls into a state of gloom and misery because of this puppet of the demon crowds. Every time the family sees them, it triggers anger. Eventually, they become too tired to even lecture them. Although they may stop speaking, they still care deeply, and the pain remains bottled up in their hearts.

Now that I have said this, many families should feel a sense of resonance, as we have seen many households deeply affected, yet they find no way to escape. Do you blame us demons? If you blame us, you are mistaken, because it is not our fault. If these people did not have such karma, it would not be possible for us to hook them so easily."

The Future of the Earth

"We are proceeding at full speed, capturing humans in large batches. It is not just that; we are actively controlling the human brain. We want to force humans to use their minds to connect everything in their lives to the internet, allowing all infrastructure on Earth—including the appliances used in their homes—to be controlled through the network.

The reason we do this is to make humans increasingly dependent on the internet, so that their lives become completely inseparable from it. Once we suddenly take the internet away, humans will likely fall into total darkness, possessing no ability to survive. In the future, children on Earth will be dependent on the internet from the moment they are born. Although they grow in age, their instincts will not develop; instead, they will be increasingly covered up. Eventually, they will forget what instincts they even had, becoming near-useless beings, incapable of anything.

We have no desire for humans to live well on Earth; we only want them to suffer and live in agony. This Earth should be the territory of the Demon Realm. There are far too many treasures here waiting for us to excavate, so we demon crowds have come in massive numbers. We do not want to miss out on this place at all. Especially since these humans are of great help to us. We will absolutely not let humanity go extinct; rather, we will let them continue to reproduce. These descendants will have one characteristic: their demon nature will become stronger and stronger."

The Rise of Demon Nature

"As the demon nature of human descendants grows stronger, it will inevitably have a massive impact on the Earth. These descendants are the future masters of the Earth. When their demon nature strengthens, they will become more and more similar to our Demon Realm. The number of puppets we can utilise will inevitably increase, and they will become easier to manipulate. Of course, we will not let the Earth be destroyed just like that, or we would have no 'play' left to watch. Instead, we want the Earth to continue spinning, while the humans within it live in incomparable pain.

Up to this point, our progress has been very smooth. There are already a great many children on Earth deeply mired in suffering. Some suffer due to pressure from family and society; some due to their own spiritual obstacles; some due to erroneous ideologies that keep them in a state of extreme mental stress; others due to unhealthy emotional relationships. Various factors are affecting these children, preventing them from growing up happily. Most of them have 'situations' within their hearts.

Of course, many of these children are the puppets we are currently controlling in our network. But there are also some we have not yet captured—targets we expect to catch. We are just waiting for the Causal Conditions to allow us to lure them into the internet world. We can then begin to entice their inner desires, deliberately letting them see images, advertisements, or various information that will move their hearts. Eventually, they begin to search for things that make them obsessed, and the end result is sinking into delusion within the internet world."

The Appearance of Practitioner Su

"Our plans are very comprehensive, and the results are excellent. This Earth will eventually be a planet controlled by our Demon Realm. I originally thought it was impossible for any human to wake up in the midst of this, but unexpectedly, a Practitioner Su has appeared.

Practitioner Su clearly sees the miserable state of the entire Earth. Too many children have fallen, and before they have even grown up themselves, they give birth to even smaller children. The reason they are so precocious and have sexual desires and concepts at such a young age is, of course, inseparable from the internet. It is too easy to see those images that pique their curiosity online. Their brains are immediately controlled and influenced, and it becomes an impression that can never be wiped away.

Humanity on Earth has reached such a tragic state, which is why Practitioner Su has begun to perform Spiritual Deliverance on our Demon Realm. We just did not expect that someone of Practitioner Su's advanced age would know to come and deliver us, the internet demons. Many of us thought Practitioner Su would not interfere with our domain. Who would have known that Practitioner Su would appear so quickly?

Currently, we are actively resisting Practitioner Su, not allowing him the opportunity to capture all of us internet demons. Furthermore, our Digital Demon Empire cannot be destroyed by Practitioner Su. It must exist forever on Earth so that we have the chance to bring human spirits into it, one by one, until they all become our 'demon children and grandchildren.'

However, I have now been apprehended by Practitioner Su. To be honest, my heart has not yet truly repented, because I am very evil, very poisonous, and very hateful. Compared to other demons, perhaps I need a longer time for purification. I know clearly that I cannot escape; I can only stay here forever. Perhaps one day, I will wake up, achieve a great Awakening, see the sins I have created, and then repent deeply."
