This is a record of an interview with the spirit of Steve Jobs, who sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He currently resides within the spirit realm, reflecting upon the nature of the three evil realms and the habits that bind beings to them. This session was recorded on September 14, 2018.

Steve Jobs speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I have observed many beings from different dimensions—a scholar, a lawyer, an orator, a violinist, a performer—all of whom were once leaders in their respective fields. They were buried deep within their achievements and wealth, completely satisfied with their worldly success, having entirely forgotten the necessity of being humble and modest. They lived as if one day were worth ten, constantly chasing the next level of life and career. Even when they became like headless flies, they were content in their frantic pursuit. Most of these souls are scattered and unfocused. The rescue within these spaces is merely for one of these many fragmented souls. The truth within these dimensions is terrifying, and there is no escape from it. The seeds sown in this vast net of have already branched out, while others still wait to sprout. In the mist of the clouds, many souls drift, and the seeds of scattered thoughts fill the space. The space has become complex, making it impossible for one to draw near or stay for long. Within such thoughts, one can never attain a pure heart."

The Illusion of Achievement

"Think about it—these people were the best of the best, yet they were trapped by their own brilliance. They were so focused on the next big thing that they lost sight of their own nature. It is a tragedy of the highest order. They were so busy building their empires that they did not realise they were building their own prisons. The complexity of these dimensions is a direct reflection of the complexity of their own minds. When you are constantly chasing, you are never still. And when you are never still, you can never see the truth. It is all a distraction, a way to keep the soul from ever finding its way home."

The Animal and Ghost Realms

"The actions of those in the animal realm are merely a continuation of life, their past ignorance leaving their minds blank. The value of their physical bodies being torn apart is a heavy price to pay. This cost is the brought about by the final thoughts of their previous lives. All these discriminations and attachments, once sown, require a deep price to be paid. Then there is the greed of the ghost realm—it is the act of clinging to things without seeing that everything is ultimately an illusion. In the end, there is nothing left, leaving oneself as nothing more than a light, drifting spirit. It is a hollow existence, a shadow of what could have been."

The Fire of the Hells

"The hells of nameless, burning anger arise from a strong, unyielding personality. They want to fight for everything, refusing to admit defeat. The cause within the fruit is that only one's own spirit tastes the suffering; no one can replace you, and no one can truly relate to your pain. Only after the groans of agony do they realise they should be repenting. Being fierce, strong, and unyielding—these elements are not good signs for one's own soul. The formation of the three evil realms comes entirely from one's own personality, and the price paid for such a personality is one's own soul. From the Xia, Shang, and Zhou dynasties until now, human nature has remained the same."

"The Buddha’s teachings dissect the root of everything: only you can save yourself. Every day, the beings from the three evil realms that are saved through Chao Du carry these same sources of habits. By raising one's awareness and learning to let go, one achieves liberation for oneself. Once you have achieved this, you can use the fruit of your success to help the endless suffering souls in the void. They have been rotating in the cycle of rebirth for so long, and they need to be enlightened and saved. Only by vowing to become a person who saves the world can one obtain the ticket to return to the Western Land. The Buddha-name of Namo Amituofo resonates throughout the void; it is truly inconceivable. Namo Amituofo."
