The Infinite Power of Compassion

The Unceasing Compassion of Practitioner Su

What kind of power is it that enables the work of Chao Du for sentient beings and the demon crowds to continue day and night, without a moment of rest? It is the profound, boundless compassion of Practitioner Su, who deeply understands the suffering of all beings and strives tirelessly to help them leave suffering behind and find happiness.

What kind of power is it that allows the lecturing on the Dharma to continue without interruption for twenty or thirty years, as if it were only a single day? It is the dedication of Practitioner Su, who constantly shares what has been seen, heard, learned, and realised with the public. This guidance allows all beings to break through their confusion, understand the true reality of existence, and find their own path to learning and realisation.

The Reach of the Dharma Across the Universe

Those who listen to the sutras and hear the Dharma are not limited to the fourfold assembly of disciples. Countless beings suffering within the six realms of existence also listen, and even the sages of the spiritual realms receive the benefits of the Dharma. The vastness of the Dharma Realm, the empty space, and the entire universe are interconnected.

Across the globe—in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Australia—the barriers of space have been opened. Because of this, beings within these spaces have the precious opportunity to receive Chao Du and to listen to the sutras and hear the Dharma. This is truly the result of the infinite compassion and grace of the Buddha, who has opened wide the gate of convenience for beings in the spiritual realms to hear the Dharma, regardless of time or location.

The Foundation of Faith and Vows

What kind of power is it that could lead one to leave their home in Taiwan, travel to Australia, and establish a Buddha hall, eventually giving rise to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre as it stands today? It is the power of filial piety and unwavering faith in one's teacher. It is the result of putting the Infinite Life Sutra into practice and following its teachings with complete sincerity, which brings forth immeasurable benefits.

From the moment of Awakening, the vow to spread the Dharma and save beings was firmly established. The work that continues today—following Namo Amituofo to save the world, deliver sentient beings, and subdue the forces of darkness—is a testament to the infinite compassion and grace of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su toward all living beings. We must cherish this opportunity to follow the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, ensuring that our practice remains pure and our devotion remains steadfast.
