The Karmic Retribution of Steve Jobs
An Interview with the Spirit of Steve Jobs
Recorded on December 7, 2017

This is a record of an interview with the spirit of Steve Jobs, who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He reflects upon his experiences in the afterlife and the inescapable laws of and cause and effect. This account was recorded by the disciple Shi Faxin on December 7, 2017.
Steve Jobs speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. My heart feels heavy. I never wanted to see such things happen, but this is a path that must be walked. It is a form of education, a profound lesson. It is much like the education one receives in school; if you do not perform well, you must face the consequences. This is how one learns to distinguish between right and wrong. I, Steve Jobs, have personally experienced the agony of the hells. It is a process that brings you to your very quickly. Imagine your entire body in constant pain, trembling, with nowhere to find relief. Even as a spirit, the sensation of pain is absolute and unrelenting. It does not stop for a single moment, and its purpose is to force you to wake up to the mistakes you have made."
The Anatomy of Karmic Judgment
"Before one undergoes punishment, you must first report to the Hall of the Yama King. Every act of Goodness and every evil thought you have committed is laid out with absolute clarity. They pull up your file, and with a simple press of the 'Enter' key, every record of your life is displayed. Even a person who has done Goodness their entire life might find themselves in the hells if they harboured a single, deeply malicious evil thought. Once the debt is paid, they may go on to enjoy , and if the evil thought or harm caused was minor, the sentence may not be long. However, for those who have committed the grave sin of taking life, leaving the hells is not such a simple matter."
The Reality of Immediate Retribution
"People often speak of 'immediate retribution' in the human world, and it is true. It may manifest as a sudden, severe illness or the total disintegration of one's family. To create karma is a terrifying thing, yet people do it every single day, perhaps without even realising it. A single hurtful word or an act of gossip adds points to the Tongue-Hanging Hell. A calculated plan to frame someone adds points to the brain-gouging hell. A heart filled with malice leads to the Heart-Gouging Hell, or worse, the Wolf-Biting Hell, where wolves tear the heart from your chest. Those who look at others with malice may find themselves in the Eye-Gouging Hell. Those who specifically harm animals may end up in the Skin-Peeling Hell, where they are subjected to the same dismemberment they inflicted upon others."
The Hidden Cost of Our Choices
"Even shellfish, which seem to have no blood or tears, know that it is you who is consuming them. Once you eat them, that debt is recorded against you. In truth, every piece of meat you consume is tallied against your own account. People are often unaware of the laws of karma and cause and effect, yet they eat with such relish. When you eventually rise from your retribution, you may find that you must be reincarnated as the very animal you consumed the most—be it a cow or a pig—to pay back the debt. You will find yourself reliving that same scene of being dismembered, experiencing the same unbearable pain, the same terror, and the same anxiety before slaughter. If people truly understood that these animals are simply beings from the human world who have changed their physical form to undergo their own retribution, how could they bear to harm them? Eating pork is no different from eating human flesh. I, Steve Jobs, am not speaking nonsense; I am telling you the absolute truth about the reality of being reincarnated."
"Namo Amituofo."
