As you engage in your practice, the process of purification naturally begins to unfold. Through this, your sensitivity to the subtle workings of your own mind increases, and your awareness becomes more refined. This heightened state of clarity allows you to understand your own situation with profound honesty. You must be able to look within and clearly recognise the state of your own heart and mind.
If you find that you are still heavily burdened by intense emotions and strong subjectivity, you must be cautious. If you continue to tightly grasp onto your ego-attachment and personal views, you remain trapped. Specifically, if you still harbour the following, you have not yet transcended the cycle of reincarnation:
If these worldly habits and personality traits remain, you are still ordinary people bound by . You remain trapped within the cycle of reincarnation, suffering the inevitable pains of birth, aging, sickness, death.
You must engage in deep self-reflection. You must learn to leave behind the state of being drowsy and dull. You must awaken to the reality of your existence and transcend the limitations of this space. Do not allow yourself to fall back into the cycle of reincarnation. Do not let your worldly personality and old habits manifest once again.
Furthermore, you must make vows—vows that are sufficiently vast and deep. Only through such profound commitment can you develop the strength to withstand the fierce manifestation of karma when it arises. Everything depends upon your heart. Your heart must be firm, and your faith must be unshakable.

You must put in the necessary effort to apply the Buddha’s teachings in your daily life. If you do this, you will surely receive the corresponding proof of your progress. However, if you do not walk the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, and fail to follow the Buddha’s instructions, you will also receive a rapid and obvious result—one of suffering. There is no room for luck or shortcuts in this practice. You must be extremely cautious.
If you harbour a mentality of taking chances while at this sacred Buddha-land, you are causing direct harm to yourself. The eyes of the heavenly beings and the Buddhas can see everything. Therefore, you must understand these principles:
You must let go of these things and cease such actions immediately. Conversely, if you know an action is Goodness, you must perform it. If you know a state is pure, do not allow it to be stained. If you know something is beneficial, do not let it be corrupted. By doing this, you will attain rapid and clear results and receive the full benefits of the Dharma. You must act with Goodness, maintain good thoughts, and speak good words. Namo Amituofo.
