The Path of Awakening and Teaching the Dharma

During the second session of the Thrice Yearning Ceremony held on 25 March 2020, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju provided profound teachings on the nature of teaching the Dharma from an awakened state.

The Radiance of the Awakened Heart

To clarify the heart and realise one's true nature is to attain Buddhahood. Those who have realised their true nature are practitioners who share the same heart and the same vows as the Buddhas, walking the path with steady, grounded steps.

Because they have attained this state, they naturally understand the infinite depth and breadth of the Buddha’s teachings. Drawing upon the experience of seeking the Dharma and realising one's true nature within their respective era, they manifest the true meaning of the Buddha’s teachings through their physical actions and spoken words.

Walking the Path of the Buddhas

Their presence is as significant as if the Buddha were still dwelling in this world, providing clear and definitive guidance. This is intended to benefit future students and those who listen to the Dharma, helping them to refine their practice.

By following these teachings, one can rediscover their true self, attain ultimate liberation, leave the cycle of being reincarnated behind, and be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

A Rare Blessing for the Karmically Connected

To encounter those who have realised their true nature and to have the opportunity to draw close to them for learning is a great blessing for those connected by karmic affinity. If you follow their instructions diligently, you too shall reach the moment of your own awakening.
