The journey of practice is a path that every soul must tread. Whether this path appears as a smooth, paved highway, a rugged and treacherous mountain trail, or a complex mixture of both, depends entirely upon the state of your heart and the nature of your actions. You must understand that your experiences are not random; they are the direct result of the causes you have sown in the past, which are now manifesting as fruits in your present life.
It is vital that you remain flexible and ready to adjust your approach at any moment. Do not fear when difficulties arise; instead, be brave and face them with a steady heart. If you are engaged in ordinary practice and do not resolve these karmic debts now, they will inevitably manifest in future lifetimes. Therefore, you must cultivate the wisdom to recognise that every encounter and every connection is an opportunity to settle the accounts of the past.
At the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, you are blessed with a unique and pure environment for your spiritual growth. Here, you are under the compassionate protection of , the guidance of our Teacher, the support of Practitioner Su, and the watchful care of the Dragon and Heaven Protectors. This environment is specifically designed to assist you in your journey.
Within this sacred space, even the karmic fruits that have yet to manifest—including the influence of your , attached spirits, and even the demon crowds—can be addressed. Through the power of and the diligent practice of the assembly, these beings can be saved. When you reach the point of and prepare for your return to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, you will have the opportunity to invite all these beings within your body to return to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss together with you.
While you are still in this world, you must dedicate yourself fully to quiet retreats and the work of purification. Your goal is to chant Namo Amituofo until you reach Awakening. By doing so, you avoid disturbing the peace of those beings with whom you share a karmic affinity. Furthermore, you can significantly reduce, or even entirely avoid, the suffering associated with aging, sickness, and death. This is a profound way to benefit both yourself and all other beings—a truly virtuous outcome.
However, to achieve this, you must be willing to let go of the ego. This includes letting go of:
You must be willing to discard these manifestations of . Only by doing so can you stop your karmic creditors from manifesting and prevent the suffering of aging, sickness, and death from taking hold of your life.
You must be diligent in your efforts. Continue the process of purification, and then more purification, until you have successfully rediscovered your true self. This is the essential work that must be done while you are at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. By staying focused on this path, you ensure that your practice is not in vain and that your ultimate goal of rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is secured.
