Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju's teachings:
True change means that when you realise you have made a mistake, you must correct it immediately. There should be no doubt in your mind; once you change, you will surely receive the benefits of your actions. This is the fundamental approach for any practitioner who wishes to walk the path of the Buddha with clarity and purpose.
If you know your faults but do not change your actions, you will inevitably continue to repeat the same mistakes. This cycle of error is a sign of deep spiritual obstacles. It may also indicate that your heart is not yet truly sincere. If the act of changing is not truly placed in your heart, your strength will be insufficient, your vows will not be firm, and your practice will lack the power to transform your life.
My dear students, as long as you still have a single breath in this Buddha-land, there is always time for true change. You must repent again and change again; you must never give up on your journey toward purity. The path of practice is not always easy, but it is the only way to overcome the habits that bind us to the cycle of rebirth.
A sincere heart is precious because it is so difficult to find in this world. To truly see this heart, you must cultivate , be selfless, and focus entirely on the benefit of all beings. Your practice must be genuine; you must cultivate the truth in every moment. Only then can you make real progress, understand the infinite meaning of the , and find the liberation you seek.
