This body you possess in this world is born from the combination of the four great elements and complex Causal Conditions. It is truly not easy to obtain. One must have upheld the Five in past lives to be reborn with a human body. Because this form is so precious, you must treat it with the utmost respect and purpose.
Regardless of the current condition of your , even when the painful manifestations of your past appear before you, you must remember that all suffering arises from the heart. Therefore, the essential work of your practice must be done within the heart. If you can regulate your heart and align it with the Truth, it becomes much easier to regulate your body and spirit.
Making good use of your body for practice—using the false to cultivate the true—is the most precious thing you can do while possessing a human body in this world. You must always remember not to waste a single minute or second on things that do not benefit your practice and purification. This includes:
The Buddha knows the hearts and the struggles of His children. If you wish to improve your current situation, you must take concrete action. Please change your personality traits, and commit yourself to the following daily practices:
At Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, the power of the Buddha is always protecting and blessing you. However, the Buddha's grace also requires your own effort to manifest. You must truly change your personality, be diligent, and act selflessly. Only when you show this sincerity will the beings you have karmic debts with be willing to resolve their grievances and accept . This is the fundamental way to solve your problems. In Buddhism, every thought and intention creates karma. Therefore, we must truly believe, accept, and practise. This encompasses four vital elements:
Your heart, your vows, and your physical actions must all be aligned to have a real opportunity for change. If you only have the heart and the vows but no action, there is no chance for transformation.
