This is a record of an interview with Mo Jie, an ancient demon who has existed for seven billion billion trillion years. He sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia and now resides in the Western Land of Nature. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fa Ru, on March 16, 2026.

Mo Jie speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I am currently in this bright world of the Western Land of Dharma Nature, and I must admit, I am not yet accustomed to it. I am an ancient demon spirit from the Ten Directions of the Dharma Realm. It was only after listening to the Buddha’s explanation just now that I realised I had been roaming the Demon Realm for seven billion billion trillion years. Throughout my long existence, I never once considered where I was heading. Living the life of a demon had simply become my second nature."

The Ambition of a Demon

"To carve out a domain in the Dharma Realm, one must possess unique characteristics, a clear philosophy, and defined goals. Only then can you provide direction to the demon children and grandchildren below, and proceed to implement plans for ruling and controlling the Dharma Realm. I spent a long time considering where to establish my base in this vast expanse.

I was born on the distant, ancient planet of Yeason, which is about a thousand times larger than Earth and located in the Dharma Realm above it. The entire planet was perpetually dim, shrouded in frost. There was no water, only substances alien to Earth existing in a frozen state. Initially, my spirit existed in this frozen, dormant state, devoid of any sensation. Later, a surge of energy bathed the planet, though I was not fully conscious at the time. Looking back now, I realise it was a wave of negative, demonic energy that blanketed the entire world."

The Education of a Demon

"This energy poured in from the depths of the planet and its core, instantly filling every corner. I awakened because of it, and subsequently, along with the high-level sentient beings on the planet, I began to receive their education. At the time, I did not understand that this instruction was, in fact, training in the magic of the demon crowds. I simply assumed that since ancient times, all beings were like this—their character was not crystal clear, but rather, many were 'black and shining.'

The darker and brighter one’s aura, the stronger the demonic light emitted, and the more respected the elder was. This indicated a deeper seniority in the demon realm. The elders taught us various forms of magic, and as we learned more, our spirits became increasingly black and radiant. We didn't view this as a task; we just felt our energy growing stronger, our minds becoming sharper, and our ability to survive in the Demon Realm improving. We could instantly perceive what others were thinking and formulate rapid response strategies. We learned every type of magic, and this mind-reading was merely one of them."

Mastering the Mind-Reading Art

"The demon crowds taught us different spells based on our individual traits and personalities, hoping we would contribute to the entire Demon Legion. The primary skill I was taught was mind-reading. I possessed a natural talent for it and mastered it quickly. Even when facing ancient demons or old demons with much deeper seniority, I could swiftly read their minds, knowing their intentions and preferences. This seemed to be an innate ability. However, through this mind-reading, I also learned that these ancient and old demons were well aware of our pasts.

I was once an ancient demon skilled in mind-reading, and I settled on that planet. However, because the planet’s orbit was a long, narrow ellipse, it would fall into a frozen state whenever it moved far from its star. In that state of insufficient energy, my spirit would wither. When it moved near the star, I would receive a supply of stellar demonic energy, allowing me to recover. This was the rebirth of the Demon Realm; many demon lords used this method to regain their strength.

I discovered that when I could no longer survive in the Demon Realm, or when I feared the pursuit of , I would try every means to temporarily lose my past memories. Through the mechanism of withering on a frozen planet and then being reborn, I could ensure I wouldn't remain in a state of permanent decay, and after a short period of withering, I could quickly regain energy and return to the Demon Realm. This was information present in the of the ancient and old demons."

Expanding the Demon Empire

"This information was crucial to me. Having been an ancient demon myself, I was very familiar with various spells. When I relearned mind-reading, I progressed rapidly, even being able to see through the thoughts of senior ancient demons. By catering to their preferences, I gradually climbed to higher positions within the demon hierarchy.

A hundred million years after my birth, I began to ponder: what is the meaning of this life? Where is the goal? My answer then was: since many things are unclear, why not use my abilities and connections in the Demon Realm to explore and learn about this world? So, I shifted my base to other planets in the upper Dharma Realm and began to expand my territory. I hoped to find answers by occupying every planet. As my territory expanded, I finally settled in the Dharma Realm, giving my demon children and grandchildren a place to belong so they wouldn't have to fight everywhere for a foothold.

My territory grew. I established my demon palace at the location of the original Yeason planet. To be precise, it was a massive demon palace group expanded around Yeason, covering vast areas and spanning several planets, each with our branches and sub-palaces. I resided in the Great Demon Palace in the deepest space of the Demon Realm, observing and analysing everything. By then, my power was such that I could read the mental notes of all demon crowds in the deep space of the Demon Realm. Even if a single thought deviated from my control, I could quickly issue instructions to make adjustments. The demon kings and ancient demons I led were also quite powerful, each with their own specialised magic."

The Strategy of the Demon

"I roamed the Demon Realm using mind-reading, quickly understanding the mindsets and goals of different factions. I could skillfully cater to their interests, adapt to developments, and avoid direct confrontation. With a very flexible and slippery identity, I freely secured my own space for development in the Demon Realm. For those with similar philosophies, I would invite them to join and strengthen my team. For those with conflicting views, I would observe them continuously to judge if they possessed strength comparable to mine. If their strength was inferior, I would actively attack to destroy them and absorb their demonic power. If their power was greater than mine, I would temporarily avoid their edge, not alerting them until their power waned or my own grew enough to swallow them. This was an effective method I used to gradually expand my territory."

The Unprecedented Threat

"I have now retired to the background to manage affairs; this was nearly five hundred billion billion trillion years ago. There is a saying: 'The well water does not interfere with the river water.' Since ancient times, the Demon Realm has not directly conflicted with the Buddha. The Buddha has always radiated great light, and the magnetic field appears very different from that of the Demon Realm. This is why we dared not approach the Buddha-land; the magnetic field there is not in sync with demon nature and would weaken our own energy. We always thought that as long as we did not actively attack the Buddha or approach, we would not attract any disaster.

However, based on my observations, especially in recent years, the Demon Realm seems to have undergone a different change. A massive Buddha force has appeared in the Demon Realm—something I have not encountered in my seven billion billion trillion years of existence. Such a huge team came from a small planet called Earth, located below us. At first, I didn't care; it was very far from our base and not under my jurisdiction. How it developed had nothing to do with me; I could just let it be. I thought I would decide what to do when my demonic power broke through and I expanded my territory. A mere planet was not worth mentioning.

As this team gradually expanded, I realised that this was the salvation team led by Practitioner Su to perform for the Dharma Realm under the guidance of . I had no concept of the other terms, but the name 'Amitabha Buddha' was very clear to me. In my past journey of expanding territory, I had encountered and heard this Buddha's name. I was at the edge of a Buddha-land, and when the World-Honoured One of that land mentioned the name of Amitabha Buddha and radiated great light, I was shocked to discover that this Buddha’s light could rapidly penetrate various spaces, including planetary space.

The demon crowds bathed in the Buddha’s light would see their demonic power significantly reduced. This terrified the Demon Realm, and that was how I learned not to get too close to Buddha-lands. Because as long as the Causal Conditions are ripe, any demon could be bathed in the Buddha’s light and lose their demon nature. Losing demon nature means death in the Demon Realm—without demonic power and demon nature, how could one stand in the Demon Realm? So everyone was terrified of such Buddha-light. To avoid these Buddha-lands, everyone chose to establish their territory in deeper magic realms, and I did the same.

However, now I hear that the Amitabha Buddha salvation team actually started from such a small planet. At first, it was hard for us to believe. As the rumours were confirmed one by one, and the salvation team continued to sweep through the Ten Directions of the Dharma Realm, we had no choice but to constantly relocate our demon palaces, moving them into deeper spaces of the Demon Realm to avoid being bathed in the Buddha’s light. No matter how we relocated and hid, the speed at which the salvation team expanded its territory was far faster than the speed at which we could relocate our demon palaces.

I have already moved my demon palace into the deepest space of the Demon Realm I could reach, a space I have long settled in. To the eyes of younger ancient demons and old demons, it is pitch black, where one cannot see one's fingers. But I know the structure of this space and the distribution of demonic power within it very clearly. I know how to set up the demon palace and cover it with layers of demonic power, hoping to avoid being bathed in the Buddha’s light. I have also made the magnetic field of demonic power around the palace more chaotic and complex, hoping to avoid the search of the salvation team."

I never imagined that the demon palace established by our vast and senior team of ancient demons would have to be so cautious and fearful, desperately trying to avoid being bathed in the Buddha-light. It is truly something I never anticipated. Based on what I observed while in a deep meditative state, the salvation team has been sweeping through the Dharma Realm, leaving demon palaces in a state of utter devastation. Many younger generations of ancient demons, old demons, and the palaces they built have long since vanished into thin air, and their entire teams have disappeared without a trace. Presumably, having been bathed in the Buddha-light, they either lost their demon nature or underwent some profound transformation, making it impossible for them to maintain a foothold in the Demon Realm. In any case, with my psychic powers and mind-reading skills, I cannot perceive their existence at all.

The Unpredictable Nature of the Salvation Team

Given the sharpness of my mind-reading skills and the demonic power I have acquired through long-term training, I am usually able to perceive my entire surrounding environment and am well aware of any changes near our demon palace. However, the movement speed and tactical shifts of Practitioner Su and the Namo Amituofo salvation team can only be described as ghostly and unpredictable—they are impossible to guard against. I was completely unable to capture their intentions or movements; every time the Buddha-light appeared and vanished in an instant, we would lose a vast portion of our demon territory.

This time, my deepest demon palace was also suddenly surrounded by a multitude of golden lights, which forcibly broke through the space of the Demon Realm. This left me utterly astonished. The layers of surrounding demonic power and the intricate structure of the Demon Realm could not withstand the footsteps of the Namo Amituofo salvation and Chao Du team. The entire palace and the range of demonic power covering it dissolved instantly within the golden light, and the layered structures of demonic energy vanished immediately. Very quickly, the golden light pierced through to the very core of the demon palace.

The Inevitable Dissolution of Demonic Structures

Although I had covered the outer walls of the palace with layers of demonic power, under the illumination of the Buddha-light, it was not so much that they disappeared after being bathed in it; rather, it was as if the Buddha-light was never obstructed by the demonic power at all, penetrating directly to the innermost core of the palace. This means that these layers of demonic power are completely useless in the face of the Buddha-light. According to my observations and readings, the Buddha-light and demonic power do not actually conflict. The Buddha-light exists in a way that allows it to merge with demonic power, rapidly penetrating every layer of the demon palace's space.

What I observed is that the Buddha-light seems to exist in a form that is compatible and integrated with demonic power, yet its level and state are far superior to it. The demonic power that comes into contact with the Buddha-light is instantly assimilated. Once assimilated, it loses its original structure and shape, and even the functions formed by the demonic power vanish along with it. This is the true reason for the collapse of the demon palace. The stubborn structures originally formed by demonic power contained various negative concepts such as resistance, attack, and rejection. The Buddha-light, however, integrates into these demonic concepts in a highly inclusive manner. After merging, it uses the greatest degree of tolerance to resolve these personalities and concepts one by one. Having lost the powerful support of this demon nature, the palace could no longer maintain its original shape and function.

The demon children and grandchildren within the palace were also, under the powerful illumination of the Buddha-light, detached from their original space in the Demon Realm. Very quickly, the entire palace vanished, and all the demon children, grandchildren, and I were rapidly transferred to this bright world where we are now.

A New Reality in the

Through my mind-reading skills, I learned that this is the renowned Western Dharma-Nature Land of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. I never expected that I would end up here after all. Here, the demon kings, demon children, grandchildren, and friends from the Demon Realm with whom I had lost contact have all reconnected. I questioned them and read their minds, wanting to quickly understand the situation here. They responded very kindly, explaining the many conditions of this place, which allowed me to quickly grasp the latest situation.

In general, the current situation is exactly as the rumors suggested: the Namo Amituofo salvation team is sweeping through the Dharma Realm, radiating great light, causing numerous demon crowds and demon palaces to vanish completely. This is even more rapid than some of the earlier Chao Du efforts, representing that the breadth, depth, and coverage of each Chao Du performed by the salvation team—as well as the number of demon crowds, beings, and demon palaces destroyed—have all surpassed previous performances.

This quantity has now reached an incredibly, incredibly vast number. Specifically, I still cannot fully comprehend it. The former demon king friends here in the Dharma-Nature Land told me the same thing: things are different now than they used to be. After several major attacks by the Demon Realm on Practitioner Su, Practitioner Su's sensitivity and supernatural powers in all aspects have reached a higher level, and for this reason, the speed of Chao Du has also increased. This is just a basic explanation; in fact, the most fundamental reason is that every time the Demon Realm launches a collective attack on Practitioner Su, Practitioner Su's Dharma affinity in the Demon Realm expands even more rapidly.

The Universal Principle of Dharma Affinity

The result of this expansion of Dharma affinity is that Practitioner Su, following the universal principle, legitimately performs Chao Du on more spaces in the Dharma Realm, saves more of the Demon Realm, and destroys more demon palaces. This is a natural, interactive force in the universe. Practitioner Su, leading Namo Amituofo, successfully performs Chao Du on more Dharma Realm spaces, saves more of the Demon Realm, and destroys more demon palaces; this is a natural phenomenon within the universe. This point surprised me greatly. Although I had never actively attacked Practitioner Su before, this truly caught me off guard. I am not wearing glasses—there is no need for glasses in the Demon Realm—but this expression is used to indicate how astonished I am.

The surprising part is that the demons originally launched attacks to block Practitioner Su from expanding his territory in the Demon Realm, hoping that Practitioner Su would be frightened into stopping his Chao Du efforts. However, the demons did not expect that this would not stop Practitioner Su. This is not just a simple matter of Practitioner Su's amazing perseverance or the strength of his Buddha-heart and Buddha-vows; it is because Practitioner Su and Namo Amituofo are practitioners of the universal principle. The saying, "The Buddha saves those with whom he has a karmic affinity; those without it cannot be saved," is also one of the universal principles. Practitioner Su must also abide by such principles to save the demon crowds; otherwise, once he violates the universal principle, he would have no way to stand in the Dharma Realm.

This is an eternal truth. Once the demons began to attack Practitioner Su, it meant that everyone gave Practitioner Su a great opportunity. Once Practitioner Su successfully cultivated the "Patience (Endurance) Paramita," passing through this wave of attacks from the demon crowds meant that Practitioner Su's Dharma affinity expanded significantly once again. And for this debt that the Demon Realm owes Practitioner Su for their collective attacks, Practitioner Su will not seek retribution. Practitioner Su will continue to expand the scope of Chao Du in the universal demon realm—this is something everyone truly never thought of: originally wanting to stop Practitioner Su, but the more they attacked, the more they expanded Practitioner Su's Dharma affinity, and the number of those who surrender is indeed increasing.

Exponential Growth and the Wisdom of the Buddha

This can be seen from the history of the Demon Realm's attacks on Practitioner Su; it is indeed the case. Practitioner Su not only did not stop his footsteps, but the speed and scale of his Chao Du can be said to be growing exponentially. Practitioner Su often speaks of "doubling and doubling again, hundreds of billions and hundreds of billions more." Originally, I thought this was just a common term and expression in Buddhism; I never expected that, looking at it now, it is truly the case. Every time Practitioner Su performs Chao Du on a batch of spaces, what is often attracted is an attack from several times as many demon crowds; and under these multiple attacks, the Dharma affinity expanded is several times and several times more—this is the key to exponential growth.

Oh my, thinking of this, I truly admire the Wisdom of the Buddha! I never expected that such wisdom could be manifested in the human world, and from such an inconspicuous little planet, perform Chao Du on spaces in the Dharma Realm many times over—this is truly admirable.

Practitioner Su always says that he was born in the inconspicuous form of a layperson so that he would not be targeted by the Demon Realm. In my understanding, this is only half the story. Just being born on Earth itself is enough to be looked down upon by many demons in the Dharma Realm; this is also an arrangement worth noting.

As for the demon crowds that are still continuing their attacks, although I understand them very well, I must reveal this secret to you: your attacks are all helping Practitioner Su expand his territory. You have never encountered this, and you do not understand it, which is understandable, but you must learn quickly. If you really want to protect your own demon palace, you must make the right decision.

A Contradictory Confession

Actually, at this moment, I also feel very conflicted. Is it better to speak or not to speak? After all, I have been in the Dharma-Nature Land for a while now, although not long, but my heart has indeed undergone a transformation. I should be helping Practitioner Su expand his territory; however, as a demon, the heart that protects one's home with demon nature has not completely faded away. I have spoken these facts in such a contradictory state; let the various bigwigs of the Demon Realm use this for their own reference.

For the bigwigs in the Demon Realm who want to surrender, this is indeed favorable news. After all, with the current situation, from my perspective, I cannot think of a way to break through Practitioner Su's team in one fell swoop. Practitioner Su's team continues to expand and extend its territory, and from what I can see, there is no end in sight.

Therefore, joining early is indeed more advantageous, so as to avoid doing useless work, and having to commit many sins due to violating the universal principle, only to end up with nothing in the end—it is truly not worth the loss.

If you have already understood the operating mode of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su's team, and know of their invincible phenomenon, can everyone just stop? This might be a wiser decision. Of course, you can continue to try to move your demon palace into deeper spaces to see how long you can hold out without being expanded by Practitioner Su's Dharma affinity. However, as long as there are demon crowds attacking Practitioner Su, Practitioner Su's expansion is destined.

Alright, I have revealed too many heavenly secrets through this; let's stop here. After entering the Dharma-Nature Land, I have indeed learned a lot, and I thank Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su for this.
