Heart, Vows, and Actions Follow Amitabha, Spreading Throughout Space and the Dharma Realm
Where does everything reside? It is not a distant concept, nor is it found only in the external world. Everything resides within the core of our being. Specifically, it is found in the heart, in faith, in practice, and in vows. Everything also manifests within the world, within our spiritual practice, and within the education we receive.
Truly, there is nothing in this universe that can compare to the Buddha. We must praise the Buddha, for the Buddha is rare, difficult to encounter, and utterly irreplaceable. Although every person possesses the original Buddha-nature, we are often unable to realise it. Why is this so? It is because our true self has been covered by the dust of our attachments and the stains of our defilements. Because of this, we remain unable to become a Buddha.
Everything is naturally a state of nature. This means that our true self is inherently priceless and perfect; it cannot be forced or manufactured through external means. It is already there, waiting to be uncovered. Everything is a matter of self-creation and self-reception, which illustrates the true reality of the laws of and cause and effect.
Everything is contained within the six-character Buddha-name, . This name is not merely a sound; it is the embodiment of the Buddha-vow, the power of his merit, the highest positive energy, and the boundless power of the . When you chant Namo Amituofo, you are connecting with this infinite source of light and Wisdom.
Everything exists within the heart, and everything emerges from the heart. Our stores everything we have ever experienced throughout our many lives. In the ultimate sense, everything is one, and one is everything. This is the reality of our true self. To live in accordance with this truth, you must maintain a heart that is pure, bright, and transparent at all times and in all places.
Whether you are facing different people, dealing with various matters, or interacting with objects, you must not be influenced by the external environment. When you remain unmoved by the external, your true self will naturally manifest from within. Every moment, every location, every person, every event, and every object exists for a single purpose: to help us save ourselves and others, to help all beings leave suffering behind, and to guide them toward the .
The Buddha-heart, the Buddha-thought, and the Buddha-vow must be kept with us always, never letting them depart, until we reach the state of an awakened being. The Buddha never leaves your side; when you realise this, your very body is the Buddha! In all your practice, there is nothing more important than ensuring your , Wisdom, and mind-capacity are working in harmony.
By doing so, you will achieve the , save all beings, and perfectly complete the Buddha's path. This message was transcribed by the Buddhist disciple Venerable HaiZe.
