The Profound Truth Within Words and Sentences

Dear students, you must learn to cherish the written word, the words and sentences. Within them lies the weight of countless experiences. To encounter the practice of the Dharma in this lifetime is a rare and precious opportunity. There is no room for luck; you must approach this path with a truly sincere heart. We rely on the written word because it serves as a vessel through which the heart can transmit its deepest truths.

The Vessel of Wisdom

Each individual character is a building block of understanding, and each sentence acts as a thread, weaving together the fabric of our spiritual journey. When gathered together, they form the sutras and teachings that guide us toward the light. If you achieve success in your practice during this lifetime, then every word you read and every sentence you recite will become a living truth. When a child of the Buddha reaches this level of accomplishment, their words are no longer mere symbols; they are the manifestation of reality itself.

The Mirror of Practice

However, if one lives this life without achieving true progress, then even the most profound words and sentences remain like illusions—fleeting, empty, and lacking substance. The written word is meant to express the intentions of the heart. Without the heart, it is difficult to truly grasp the meaning behind the teachings. We should be deeply grateful for the existence of these texts, for they are the foundation upon which so much of our progress is built. Many of the achievements we see in practitioners today are directly rooted in their diligent study of these sacred words.

Beyond the Written Word

While we cherish the scriptures, you must also be careful not to fall into the trap of attachment. Do not become so fixated on the words themselves that you lose sight of the truth they point toward. The ultimate Dharma is difficult to express in language; it transcends the limitations of human speech and writing. Because language can never fully capture the entirety of the truth, you must take the next step: move beyond the page, bring these teachings into your daily life, and verify the truth through your own personal practice and experience.

The Path to the Awakened Being

When you reach the state of an awakened being, your Six Roots will be completely purified. It is within this state of absolute purity that you will finally perceive the true meaning of all things. This realisation is not bound by time or location. It does not matter where you are or what hour of the day it is; the potential for an awakened being is always right before your eyes. Therefore, I encourage you to continue moving forward with a sincere and dedicated practice. Walk this path directly, without hesitation or doubt. Remember that the state of an awakened being is always waiting for you, right here and right now.
