The Protection of Skanda Bodhisattva for Practitioner Su
An Interview with Skanda Bodhisattva
Recorded on December 25, 2020
The Sacred Mission of Rainmaking
Practitioner Su, through his , has been engaged in the profound work of requesting rain and performing spiritual deliverance. Recently, the scope of this rainmaking has been adjusted to focus specifically upon the grounds of the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre. The intention behind this is to draw the attention of the Australian authorities, inviting them to visit and witness the work being conducted here. It is our hope that they will come to realise that Namo Amituofo and this temple are here to save infinite suffering beings. We are here to help everyone resolve and manage the many difficulties they face in life. Successfully bringing rain is merely one small aspect of this greater mission. Furthermore, we hope that this manifestation of the will assist in the successful approval of residency extensions for those serving at the temple. Such a virtuous request for visa extensions is one that the salvation team and I fully support, as we walk this path with the same heart and the same vow as Practitioner Su. At this very moment, the salvation team continues to chant Namo Amituofo twenty-four hours a day to request rain. We hope that the Jade Emperor and the Dragon Kings of the Four Seas will cooperate with these efforts, allowing this matter to be settled smoothly so that Practitioner Su need not be burdened by concerns regarding residency status.
The Unceasing Work of Deliverance
The work of saving beings is a task that cannot pause for even a single moment. It is my sincere hope that all of you can come to this realisation. Even now, the sky is thick with dark clouds, and one can clearly see these clouds gathering directly above the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. As for the actual rainfall, we must wait and observe the unfolding of conditions. Many things in this world possess a degree of flexibility and room for adjustment; however, this matter concerns the great work of Namo Amituofo, Practitioner Su, and the temple in saving beings. Therefore, all parties involved must actively and accurately cooperate to ensure the success of this mission.
The Extraordinary Path of Practitioner Su
The path of saving beings that Practitioner Su walks is one where he personally bears the suffering of all beings. To this day, we continue the work of drawing out and inviting the beings residing within our bodies to enter the Western Land of Dharma Nature. This process is ongoing. As we look back upon this journey, we see that only one who has achieved and Buddhahood could offer such a completely selfless and egoless contribution. Generally, it is difficult for an ordinary person to endure such rigorous tests of and mind. Yet, Practitioner Su accepts every challenge, faces every trial, and continues to lead everyone in the . Through such conduct and teachings, I, Skanda , can only do my utmost to protect Practitioner Su and the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, ensuring that the temple affairs proceed smoothly. The work that Practitioner Su performs is beyond the reach of the vows of ordinary practitioners. When such a vow is put into action and realised, its influence is vast, permeating the entire vastness of the Dharma Realm. This is truly the heart and conduct of a great practitioner. The fourfold assembly of disciples who follow by his side should observe this and strive to learn from it.
Overcoming the Interference of
The path of practice is never a smooth, unobstructed journey. One must face various problems encountered within the environment, as well as the interference and obstruction caused by karmic creditors and spiritual attachments. Only those with tremendous are able to encounter a true spiritual friend who possesses the necessary skills to provide care, offer reminders, and invite these beings for , thereby achieving twice the result with half the effort. I hope that the fourfold assembly of disciples at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre will cherish every minute and every second. Do not allow yourselves to be troubled or obstructed by your own delusions and messy thoughts. I have also observed that the fourfold assembly of disciples frequently experiences situations where they are controlled by spiritual attachments, making it difficult for them to maintain their own autonomy. Fortunately, Practitioner Su possesses the wisdom to see clearly, to know how to adjust, and to understand the root causes of these issues without being moved by them. It is only through such meditative concentration and ability that he can train and lead the masses forward, and make the most direct and beneficial judgments for the sake of all beings. This is the best model for the fourfold assembly of disciples to follow. You must adjust yourselves at all times and raise your awareness, for only then can you avoid falling into situations where you are controlled by spiritual attachments and lose your own autonomy.
A Vow of Eternal Protection
Regardless of the circumstances, wherever the Buddha’s work is being done, and wherever there are those who are truly and sincerely working to save beings, we will certainly follow by their side and protect them. Namo Amituofo.
This message was recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Venerable HaiZe.
