The Sacred Ground of the Buddha

Wherever the Buddha resides, that place is transformed into a sacred Buddha-land. Because Namo Amituofo is residing here at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, the compassionate vow of Amitabha to save the world and rescue all suffering beings is fully manifested within the grounds of this temple. This is truly a Western Pure Land, the headquarters of the Pure Land school, appearing right here in the human world for all to see.

Cultivating the Garden of the Heart

The teachings remind us that when the heart is pure, the land is pure. To create a sacred space within your own heart, you must be willing to put in the effort. You must diligently pull the weeds of your afflictions, carefully till the soil of your mind, and nourish it with the water of diligent practice. When the holy name of Amitabha constantly resonates within your heart, your pure true self will naturally be revealed.

The Path to Awakening

Practitioner Su has already attained the state of an awakened being. He leads the fourfold assembly of disciples toward the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, helping everyone rediscover their pure Dharma Body and their original true self. This is how the Western Pure Land on Earth is established here at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.
