The Radiance of Namo Amituofo

All beings under heaven can now behold the ray of hope. Our Buddha is compassionate; Namo Amituofo has descended in person to the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. At this very moment, His light shines in all directions, illuminating the darkest corners of the universe.

Spirits dwelling in the darkness of the underworld are invited to this sacred place to receive the compassionate light of the Buddha. Once the shadows of ignorance are dispelled, they may be reborn into a new life, dwelling within this Buddha-land to listen to the sutras and hear the . This place is filled with the Buddha's compassionate vows, and Namo Amituofo gazes upon all beings with a joyful countenance, welcoming them home.

The Path of Deliverance

The Buddha-light shines everywhere, and all beings can feel its warmth permeating their entire bodies, filling their hearts with profound gratitude. The is truly magnificent. Through it, we come to understand the deep suffering and sorrow of the many spirits who have been lost in the cycle of rebirth.

When they realise that the Buddha's vows are manifest here, they can finally leave suffering behind and find happiness, being led to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. The Western Pure Land is not far away; it is right before your eyes, provided you continue to chant Namo Amituofo with a sincere heart.

Once you escape the sea of suffering, you enter the Buddha-land. While your current state is the result of past , it is only through your vows that you can truly progress. To be spared from hardship and have one's karmic burdens carried by the Buddha is a grace so vast that it benefits all confused beings.

Overcoming the Obstacles of

There are countless, immeasurable beings still trapped in suffering. They are scattered everywhere: in the mountains and by the waters, high in the air and upon the ground. These countless spirits do not know they are suffering, or even if they do, they have no way to escape. They wait for salvation, longing only for the Buddha-light and the holy name of Namo Amituofo.

However, many of these beings suffer from damaged Six Roots: they may be deaf, unable to hear the Dharma; they may be blind, unable to see the light; or they may be mute, unable to chant the Buddha's name. Because their spiritual space has not yet opened, they remain trapped in their old, habitual patterns, obstructed by emotions they do not understand. Often, their spirits have left their original bodies, yet they remain bound to them, controlled by forces beyond their own will.

Even animal spirits, whose minds are dim and clouded, find it difficult to receive the benefits of the Dharma when they hear the Buddha's name or the sutras, often dismissing them as ordinary sounds.

A Sanctuary for All Beings

Whether they are from this world or other realms, many are currently enduring intense suffering. Newcomers, including your from countless lifetimes, are still waiting to understand that this is a sacred Buddha-land. If these new beings can sincerely recognise their suffering and truly wish to leave behind their obstacles, they must seize this opportunity.

When the wish to awaken arises, one must act quickly to satisfy the heart's longing. Through the illumination of Namo Amituofo and the power of the Thrice Yearning Ceremony, they may be reborn in the West. If this opportunity is missed, the suffering will return, and it is uncertain when they will ever find a way to leave it behind again.

The Vow of Compassionate Guidance

Consider your own body, which contains fifty trillion cells. These cells are with you, advancing and retreating together. They share your body, and they are fully aware of every thought and intention that arises within you. All beings must be educated to understand the truth of suffering. They should not wish to remain entangled in the cycles of this world. Know that the Western Pure Land is where Namo Amituofo eternally abides; as long as you have the vow, He has never abandoned you.

The Sacred Duty of the Practitioner

The students of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre are familiar with these teachings, but newcomers—especially karmic creditors—have never heard them. They, too, must be taught. The work of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre involves healing, resolving karmic grievances, and assisting beings in reaching the Western Pure Land. These are the subtle details that require your constant attention.

Help all beings as conditions allow, regardless of whether their karmic affinity is deep or shallow. Whenever a being arrives, treat it as if this is the only moment that matters. If the affinity dissipates, who knows when you will meet again? Rebirth in the Western Pure Land is difficult to encounter. That a newcomer can enter this space is already a rare achievement. Every newcomer is different, and this provides an opportunity for you to learn how to respond with wisdom and grace.

Always wear a smile. If someone is confused, explain the truth to them with a sincere heart or offer them your help. You must not refuse to assist; do not think that it is not your business. Every person who comes here is a Buddha in the making, merely lost in the suffering of the cycle of rebirth. Since you have met, there is a karmic affinity between you. Help each other and cherish one another. When the time comes for the affinity to end, do so with a smile, knowing that this encounter has transformed your karmic connections in ways that are truly inconceivable. When you will meet again is uncertain, but the goal remains the same and has never changed. The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is the destination for all, the only ray of hope in the Dharma Realm, manifesting right here. Namo Amituofo.
