The Desolation of the Earth

Once, the withered trees stood devoid of vitality. The grass bowed low, unable to rise, and the earth itself cracked in its weakness. In the air, the spirits of the departed lamented in their suffering. The grass, the trees, the earth, and the spirits—all were caught in this state of desolation.

The Resonance of the Buddha-name

All together, they resonate with the great name of Namo Amituofo. The sounds of the Buddha-name string together into a single heart of devotion. Sweet rain falls, and the clouds of the Dharma arise. The earthly creatures and the earth itself survive together, finding a new beginning through this sacred resonance.

Understanding Karma and Collective Fate

There are the laws of karma and cause and effect, and the distinctions of karma. Within the Collective Karma, there are individual karmic paths that define our experiences. Through the power of the Buddha-name, the Chao Du is performed, and the karma is resolved, allowing life, in its endless cycle, to manifest once more.

The Grace of Deliverance

This restoration of life is the grace of the Buddha, and the grace of Practitioner Su. By knowing from where the suffering of the sentient beings arises, all earthly creatures regain their vitality. The Dharma Body relieves suffering, never tiring in its efforts to save all sentient beings. Let us remain steadfast in our practice, ensuring that the light of the Dharma continues to shine upon the world, bringing peace to all.
