Bearing the Suffering of All Beings at All Times, Thus Inviting the Presence of Amitabha Buddha
Heart, Vows, and Actions Follow Amitabha, Spreading Throughout Space and the Dharma Realm
Across thousands of mountains and rivers, countless sentient beings wander. Within this vast expanse, the spirit is trapped, struggling to find a way out of the cycle of rebirth. We have been reincarnated for countless ages, drifting through the cycle of rebirth. This suffering persists simply because we have forgotten the existence of our own true self.
Yet, every single being possesses the inherent potential of the true self. We spend lifetimes searching for its traces, wandering through the vastness of the world. Those who came before us have walked this path, and we follow in their footsteps. We all share the same deep longing: to rediscover the radiant light of our true self.
Now, we are fortunate to witness the appearance of those who have already attained this wisdom. We must seize this moment to visit, listen, and learn from their guidance. Such teachings are rare and profound. They are not easily encountered in this world. Do not let this opportunity slip away, for it is a precious chance that may not come again.
Consider the treasures of this world; they all have an end. Even the greatest glory and wealth are fleeting, like morning dew that vanishes with the rising sun. In contrast, your true self is eternal and never perishes. It is inherently pure, free, and tranquil—this is your original state before the dust of the world settled upon you.
When one finally finds this true self, the foolishness of the past is transformed into profound wisdom. The darkness of confusion is extinguished, and one enters a state of flawless clarity. In this state, and mind find true peace. The burdens of old age and sickness fall away, as one is no longer tethered to the suffering of the physical realm.
Here at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, which is truly a Buddha-land, Practitioner Su provides protection and guidance. I hope that you, as a child of the Buddha, will cherish this rare affinity. Every second of your life is precious and difficult to obtain. Do not let your time flow away in vain; use every moment to cultivate your practice.
When you can sever your delusional thoughts, your heart will remain eternally calm and level. If you keep the Buddha-name flowing without interruption, the Buddha-heart will naturally manifest within you. Just as a rough stone must be polished to reveal its inner brilliance, you must refine your practice to reveal your true self. Do not fail the grace of , who truly abides here at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.
