On June 1, 2018, at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia, chief writers Shi Faxi and Shi Faxin recorded a series of profound interviews. These sessions featured Venerable Changren, the spirit of Steve Jobs, the spirit of Lee Kuan Yew, and the spirit of Gu Chongliang. Each speaker sought deliverance through the compassionate guidance of Practitioner Su, and they now reside in various dimensions or the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, having been led there by the power of the Buddha-name.

Venerable Changren speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. Every single day, the stories we uncover from different dimensions are like precious treasures. The power of the deliverance performed here is truly unprecedented; it is a level of skill that is rarely seen in this world. Today, Practitioner Su’s ability has reached even greater heights. She entered a realm of infinite light, a brilliance filled with countless sentient beings. These beings survive by following this light, yet they are completely unaware that they have been trapped in the cycle of rebirth for an eternity.

The Light-Seekers of the Solar System

These spirits originate from a light source within our solar system—a dimension situated very close to the sun. There is a group of spirits there who have spent ages following that light. They are drawn to its radiance and heat; some of them even cling to the very surface of the sun. Among these spirits are several individuals who were once famous space explorers on Earth, as well as many beings from other planets. They all share the same obsession, which is why they remain gathered there, life after life, chasing that source of light.

Today, Practitioner Su led the deliverance team into the cosmos and even beyond the boundaries of the universe. The spirits we invite are of infinite variety—they come in so many different forms, each with their own unique pursuits and attachments. Even as they are being invited, they still do not understand how to let go of their delusions. Although these beings hear the Buddha-name chanting during our morning deliverance, their hearts remain unmoved. They are still too enamoured with their own attachments. It is such a pity to miss out on the precious guidance offered by every single chant of Namo Amituofo.

The Persistence of

However, I believe that as we continue to open different layers of space and perform these purification processes daily, one day these spirits will be liberated. Their are simply not yet ripe. Even if they do not move forward now, the work of deliverance continues. This is a vital principle of our mission and the true essence of saving the world. Eventually, when the Buddha-name rings out at just the right moment, they will be willing to turn back and follow the guidance. This is the true method of deliverance—it is the same great compassion and vow as the Buddha. We never force connections, but we never abandon them either. The mysteries of the universe and the complexity of these dimensions are vast. I hope everyone will simply and honestly chant Namo Amituofo, find their true nature, and stop clinging to attachments. Namo Amituofo."

Steve Jobs speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. Goodness, power, wisdom, and action—this force of goodness travels through the universe. It is precise, down to the very second. When it reaches the upper atmosphere, the light scatters everywhere like fireworks. The points of light descended upon an ancient village. It was not large; it looked like a ruin, with only a few households scattered about. The roofs were sagging, and the thatch was on the verge of sliding off. Inside, elderly people lay in a state of decay within their humble dwellings. This scene was from a discarded planet.

A Planet on the Brink

The inhabitants of this planet had already migrated away, leaving behind only the sick and the elderly. Their energy was incredibly weak, and the planet itself was facing the crisis of an imminent explosion. Unable to leave, they could only watch as their world grew dimmer day by day. They had already prepared themselves for the end; facing the exhaustion of their energy, their final existence would be to return to the void after the explosion. They dared not even think about what the future might hold.

Then, a venerable being with dark skin and exceptionally large eyes appeared. Her practice was incredibly deep, and she possessed a profound heavenly eye. The moment she saw this dim, lightless planet, she exerted all her strength and pushed forward. The elderly people on the planet suddenly saw a burst of light appear before them. As Practitioner Su moved them forward with great speed, the magnificent Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss appeared right before their eyes. The elders did not see anyone from their own planet; they were all beings of great who had once served as messengers of mutual aid on their world. It was precisely because of that heart of service that they were able to reach the Western Pure Land. This shows that the principles of the universe are unchanging. Even extraterrestrial beings need to accumulate merit and virtue—even if they do not use that specific term, the meaning is identical. These are the stories of the stars I have heard from the Venerable. I hold the skills of Practitioner Su in the highest respect, and it was only after seeing her that I truly understood that I, too, must practise diligently. I am so grateful to Practitioner Su for leading us in deliverance every day. Namo Amituofo."

Lee Kuan Yew speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. What is the perfection of life? Is it having a perfect family or a perfect career? Perfection does not allow for any gaps, for if there is a gap, there is a flaw. A life with flaws is like a life with missing pieces. Even so, it is impossible for a human life to be completely perfect. It is a regret to miss out on the love of your life; it is a regret to fail to obtain what you desire; it is a regret to lose your family. Even in a life that seems perfect, one must still experience these joys and sorrows, these partings and reunions.

The Illusion of Roles

Every little experience in life seems to leave a memory etched upon the heart. The accumulation of these memories layer upon layer is what we call the cycle of rebirth. A dancing girl becomes a flower; a strong man wielding a butcher's knife in the market becomes a watermelon. An old man climbing stairs enters a new dimension; a gangster becomes a foul-smelling rock; a timid man becomes a turtle; a mother worried about her children enters the ghost realm; a high official falls into the hells; a Taoist priest turns into an elixir. Living beings with voices become silent, and silent beings become living ones. Life is so fleeting and ever-changing—what is there left to argue about?

Looking at the human world from the perspective of the Western Pure Land, this shifting of roles is nothing more than the blink of an eye. All the grabbing and desiring in a person's life is merely an excessive attachment to the role they are playing at that moment. One should realise that everything is false. The pursuit of this life should be a beautiful dream—a dream that moves steadily towards the West. There is no fighting or plundering, only compassion. If you are fortunate enough to encounter the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre and join the ranks of those saving the world, that is a dream within a dream. There is no need to calculate or argue about anything in life. Just look at the life of Practitioner Su, who serves without a self, without ego, moving straight towards the Western Pure Land. This is the final destination for all of us. I hope everyone can walk with the Buddha and join in the work of saving the world. Namo Amituofo."

Gu Chongliang speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I always loved coffee, and today, I have had some realisations about it. A cup of coffee seems to represent the bitterness and sweetness of life. A life where everything is pushed forward at once always requires a great deal of energy, physical strength, and mental capacity to complete the tasks of daily life and work. It seems that without these, it is very difficult to survive in this society.

The Karmic Debt of Existence

From the moment a child is born, they grow up in the family they are connected to in this life. Whether the family gives them good or bad, they absorb it all. What is truly terrifying is that sometimes even the parents do not understand the difference between the good and the bad. When you eat a piece of meat, there is involved—it includes the chickens, ducks, geese, and fish. When you eat a clam, there is karma; a plate of vegetables contains many spirits, and a plate of fruit is the same. Think about how many meals we have eaten in a lifetime and how many indissoluble bonds we have formed with countless spirits. We begin creating karma the moment we consume food.

Human birth is just like this: we live with the sentient beings we are connected to from our past, and we continue to form new connections in this life. They are you, and you are them. After a fit of rage, or when one grows old and frail, the destined will strike. Everything is already recorded in the Book of Life and Death, but if we continue to create karma during our lives, we only increase the severity of the retribution our bodies must endure. In the end, before life concludes, it is painful and helpless. We do not want to leave, but we must. The bitterness and sweetness of life—I have thought it all through after drinking a cup of coffee. These scenes of life are truly exhausting. Most of the time, one cannot find true happiness. The sense of stability in the heart can only be found by returning to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss—our true home. This is my small realisation about life and the Western Pure Land. I write this to share with those who have the karmic affinity to see it. Namo Amituofo."
