Bearing the Suffering of All Beings at All Times, Thus Inviting the Presence of Amitabha Buddha
Heart, Vows, and Actions Follow Amitabha, Spreading Throughout Space and the Dharma Realm
If you are a practitioner who truly understands the suffering of all beings, you will realise the inherent limitations of this physical body. When the four elements separate at the end of life, the pain is profound and unavoidable. Consider the cycle of rebirth: we wander through the six realms of existence, lost and without a home, suffering in our helplessness because we do not know where we will go next.
Furthermore, consider the weight of the mistakes we have made throughout our lives. We have accumulated heavy karmic debts that pull us toward the hells. The spirit suffers a piercing, heart-wrenching agony at the prospect of such retribution, waiting for the inevitable consequences of our past actions to manifest.
We must also face the reality of impermanence: birth, aging, sickness, and death. These are the constant, shifting tides of our existence. A practitioner who understands this suffering will naturally engage in diligent practice. They will quicken their pace and walk quickly toward the path of liberation. While you still have breath, you must work tirelessly and without pause.
Throughout your many lives, you have been busy and burdened by suffering. Now, abides at Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, saving countless beings. I urge all my fellow disciples: quicken your pace, walk quickly, and do not fall back into the cycle of rebirth. To enter the cycle of rebirth again would be a truly tragic loss.
At the very least, you must ensure you have the certainty of rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. I hope all disciples will take this warning to heart, purify your practice, and rediscover your true self. Namo Amituofo.
