The Buddha's disciple, Shi Faxin, respectfully prostrated and invited Namo Amituofo to provide compassionate teachings for the benefit of all beings. In response, Namo Amituofo offered this profound discourse on the nature of our existence in the human world.

The Fleeting Mirage of Worldly Comfort

Common people wander through the human world, believing it to be a place of lasting comfort and . They hold hands, seeking happiness in fleeting connections, yet they do not perceive the underlying impermanence of their lives. Life and death are matters of great uncertainty; therefore, you must cherish every single day. Do not let your precious time pass in vain, as if your days were infinite. You may think you have grasped the world firmly in your palm, but you do not realise that it slips through your fingers like sand. Everything in this world is in a state of constant, shaking flux, yet within this, there remains a path to purity.

The Manifestation of True

To spread love throughout this Saha world is the true manifestation of compassion. When you look into the mirror of the , you will see your own face reflected clearly before you. In the quiet spaces of your life, let the Buddha accompany you as you move forward. With your hands joined in prayer and your knees bowed in reverence, you express your devotion. Once you have made the great vow to save all beings, your mission is to bring the light of the Dharma to the human world. After you have taken the vows of a monastic, all worldly attachments fall away, leaving your mind clear and empty of ego.

to the True Self

When you have transcended the influence of and the illusions of the human world, a natural and solemn dignity will manifest within you. Your heart will become as vast as the earth, and you will find peace in the midst of the world's turbulence. You are like a child in the hands of a compassionate father, having descended into the human world to experience the myriad forms of existence. When you reach a state of clear understanding, you will realise that my words are meant for this very world. How many monastics are there who have scattered into the dust of the world, forgetting their original purpose? They chant the name of the Buddha, believing they are practising, but they must ask themselves: is their practice truly integrated with their lives? You must learn to let go of and awaken to the truth.

The Beacon of Hsiang Kuang

Live your life with grace, moving freely like clouds and a light breeze. There is no time for uncertainty when you walk the right path. When the surface of a lake is clear and bright, it reflects your true self. When you are filled with the joy of the Dharma, your face will naturally radiate happiness. Learn from the joy of Maitreya and the compassion of Avalokiteshvara. Namo Amituofo is here to receive you and guide you to the West; this is the true Buddha manifesting in your life. The true Buddha is present in this world, waiting for you to seek the hidden path. Now, the Great Dharma is revealed here at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre.

The Direct Path to the Western Pure Land

All disciples must return, for the sake of saving the human world. Wander through the vastness of the Dharma Realm with freedom and ease. Do not look back; take large, confident steps forward. The Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is appearing before your very eyes. If you practise with sincerity, you will surely reach it and be able to help all beings move toward the West. The future landscape of the Pure Land is already manifesting within this world of suffering. Golden light is scattered across the earth, and compassion is revealed before you. Lead all beings toward the West and take that final step forward. Keep chanting the name of Namo Amituofo, and Namo Amituofo will appear before you. As a child of Namo Amituofo, let your heart be filled with the recitation of His name. Chant Namo Amituofo all the way, and you will find Him waiting for you.
