The most efficient method to elevate your lotus grade is to continuously refine yourself while you are still in the human world. By consistently improving your practice and purifying your heart, you will naturally become in sync with the Western Land. When the time comes for your transition, you will effortlessly attain the rank that corresponds to your level of spiritual cultivation. It feels as though I am delivering a teaching, but once the floodgates of truth are opened, these are the natural subjects that arise. The Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is truly beyond description—it is magnificent beyond measure.
A Reunion Beyond Time and Space
Nini, my dear granddaughter, it is I, your grandfather. How fortunate we are, as descendants and ancestors, to have this opportunity to connect. Even after all these years since my rebirth in the , we have found a way to communicate through such a special and inconceivable method. In truth, your uncle Huang Renzhong, your father Hu Dongqing, and your mother—my beloved daughter Huang Yanping—are all already here with me in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. We were all guided to this place through the efforts of Practitioner Su of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. This is a joyous occasion, and you should feel deep admiration and happiness. You must have faith!
Understanding the Truth of Reality
You are no longer young, Nini. Having navigated the many complexities, grievances, and entanglements of the human world, you should possess a clear internal standard—a ruler within your heart—to understand the truth of reality and recognise the facts as they are. We previously referred to him as Lay Practitioner Su, but because of his continuous, diligent practice and his success in performing for infinite beings to be reborn in the Western Pure Land, we who reside here now respectfully address him as Practitioner Su. We have reached this place thanks to your good fortune as well. Practitioner Su possesses the genuine ability to guide so many of your close relatives to the Western Land. You must know how to repay such a kindness, for this is a debt of gratitude that is difficult to fully repay.
The Call to the Mituo Village
The laws of and cause and effect, along with the ultimate truth of reality, are not merely words spoken by human mouths. Human hearts are often complex and insincere; therefore, you must trust the ruler within your own heart. Do not blame your grandfather for speaking these words openly. Firstly, you might doubt that the one speaking to you now is truly your grandfather, but since that is the case, there is no harm in speaking plainly. Secondly, I do not wish for you to remain ignorant of the truth, or to hear of it and dismiss it as a fabrication. Nini, you must have faith!
