Teachings Received by Disciple Shi Faxi
September 22, 2017

The Path of True Practice
Disciple Shi Faxi respectfully invites the of Namo Amituofo to provide teachings.
Namo Amituofo provides these teachings: True practice is not merely a performance; it is the authentic cultivation of one's nature and the embodiment of the . When you walk the path of the Tathagata, you enter a realm of profound wonder. It is here that the True Teachings truly arise within your heart. To transcend the mundane world, one must seek the pure, tranquil state of the lotus. This is the only way to leave behind the cycle of suffering and enter the wondrous, supreme life of the of Ultimate Bliss.
You must commit yourself to true and right practice. This is the road that leads to the Western Land, where the supreme wisdom of the Buddha will naturally manifest. Just as a lotus flower must be nurtured to bloom, you must verify your own spiritual rank through diligent effort. Calling the lotus to bloom is not a passive wish; it requires the unwavering commitment of your daily practice.
the Lotus Within
As you walk through the dusty paths of this world, you will inevitably pass by many people and events. Do not let these fleeting encounters distract you. Your mind may be filled with infinite memories, but why cling to the emotions of the past? Your original nature is bright and luminous, yet it has become obscured by the dust of the world. You are like a child who has wandered far from home, forgetting the purity of your original lotus birth.
The of this world—wealth, sex, fame, food, and sleep—only serve to stir up greed, anger, and delusion. These poisons cause you to forget your true self. However, the wisdom of the lotus and the intelligence of your original nature remain within you. Your spirit and heart are inherently bright. This is what your true self longs for. It is time to turn back, abandon all attachments, and return to the Dharma nature. When you do, you will find yourself pure, white, and dignified, with a clear and resolute mind.
The Vow of the Great Hero
Establish your vows firmly. Let your heart be as sincere and vast as the ocean. In the land of the lotus, we are all one. Cultivate the appearance of a great hero—dignified, pure, and steadfast in the Dharma. May the vows of the Tathagata grow within your heart, guiding every thought and action. When you reach this state, you will see that there is nothing that is not right, and nothing that is not wrong. You will simply see things as they are, and in that clarity, there is no trouble at all.
Sailing the Ocean of Dharma
May the clear, pure ocean of the Buddha's compassion irrigate all the streams of your life. When you share the same nature and the same birth as the Buddha, the Buddha’s teachings will truly return to your heart. There is nothing beyond the Tathagata. By attaining this wondrous penetration, you will manifest the noble appearance of wisdom. The power of your life's practice will become as vast as the sea, and your capacity to help others will be infinite. With a compassionate heart and a great ambition, we shall sail together on the Great Dharma, rescuing all suffering beings until we all reach the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
This message was recorded by the Buddha’s disciple, Shi Faxi.
