The Microcosm of Existence
On the twelfth of September, 2017, the disciple Shi Faxin respectfully invited Namo Amituofo to provide teachings for the benefit of all beings. Namo Amituofo responded with these profound words, revealing the intricate nature of our reality.
Within the most minute details of existence, every tiny fraction of reality is present. Across the six realms of rebirth, every single point of life is interconnected. In the precious land of the of Ultimate Bliss, the nectar of the is scattered everywhere, nourishing all who seek liberation.
The Unchanging Truth
The true self of all things is the only reality. In the precious land, the light of the Buddha shines eternally, and no dust of impurity can ever enter. The Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way are present in all things, from the smallest grain of sand to the vast stars in the heavens. When you realise this, your mind becomes clear, transparent, and perfectly still. You must not allow even a single speck of impurity to cloud this clarity, for it is under the weight of such impurities that the wheel of samsara continues to turn.
The Cycle of Samsara
We watch as the world changes, as stars shift and seasons pass before our eyes. Yet, all beings share the same root and the same destiny. The falling of a leaf is a reflection of the human condition—a reminder of the impermanence of our physical lives. Day and night alternate in an endless cycle, yet the clouds of the mind can drift in clarity and freedom. However, the human world is currently filled with suffering, marked by countless wounds and deep-seated pain.
The Light of the True Nature
Life flows like a river, and every drop of experience leaves its mark upon us. Many people try to cover their true faces with their hands, hiding from the reality of their own suffering. Yet, Namo Amituofo reaches out with compassionate arms to welcome every soul. When virtue moistens our state of being, the light of wisdom is born. Just as a fish struggles and exerts great effort to swim against the current, we must strive in our practice. When you light the lamp of wisdom within your heart, a brilliant glow emerges.
The patterns of our lives appear like layers of dye on fabric, shifting with the seasons and the flow of time. You do not need to let the web of past remain wrapped around your body. When you ignite the light within your heart, it illuminates the entire earth. All things will then exist in a state of pristine beauty, and the pure, white light of your true self will naturally manifest.
