On the twenty-first day of September in the year 2017, the disciple Shi Faxin respectfully invited Namo Amituofo to provide compassionate teachings for the benefit of all beings. Namo Amituofo graciously responded with the following guidance.
The Drifting Currents of Life
In the drifting, swirling currents of existence, we encounter the myriad states of human life. Just as water flows in countless different patterns, so too does the nature and appearance of every human being vary. We are all caught in the flow of time, yet we must learn to see beyond the surface of these changing forms. Between the sentient and the insentient, we must learn to respect all things. Every being has its own history, its own story, and its own reason for being where it is today. We must ask ourselves: what is the root cause of our current state?
Everything is linked by the threads of cause and effect. Even within the smallest cell, there is a point of connection that binds us to the greater whole. Consider the sharp, piercing sounds of the dolphin; these vibrations ripple through the environment, influencing all who dwell within it. In the same way, our thoughts and actions ripple through the universe. We must exert our utmost effort to protect our wisdom-life. Each Buddha is a source of wisdom, and we all share the same ultimate goal: to return to the of Ultimate Bliss.

While we remain lost in the cycle of rebirth, the sea of is vast and filled with endless suffering. Whether one is a tiny insect crawling upon the earth or a creature swimming in the depths of the water, all are caught in this cycle. You must look deeply within yourself to understand your own intentions. Where are you heading? What is your true direction? In truth, the nature of the Buddha is hidden deep within your own heart. By chanting the name of Namo Amituofo, you can reclaim your original, true self and find the path back to your home.
The Manifestation of Great Harmony
Imagine a vibrant rainforest, rich with life and colour, where every need is met and every soul is nurtured. This is the promise of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, where all beings leave suffering behind and find true happiness. The Record of Great Harmony is now manifesting in this world. It is found here at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, where the community gathers to support the temple. We long for all children to return to this sanctuary, to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, where the light of the Buddha shines upon everyone. This teaching was recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Shi Faxin, to share the message of the Buddha with all.
