From Silicon Valley to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss
An Interview with the Spirit of Steve Jobs
Recorded by Venerable HaiZe on September 6, 2017
This is a record of an interview with the spirit of Steve Jobs, who sought Spiritual Deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon his life as the founder of Apple and his subsequent spiritual transformation. Recorded by the chief writer, Venerable HaiZe, on September 6, 2017.
Steve Jobs speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. I must say, the human world is truly a place that one should not linger in any longer than necessary. Here in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, everything is so pure, so luminous, and so clear. This environment has allowed me to view existence from an entirely different perspective—a vantage point that makes me realise just how profoundly misguided I was during my time on Earth.
Back then, my entire thought process, my strategic planning, and my constant reviews were all focused on one thing: the bottom line. Every project was evaluated based on the cost of human and material resources, the projected return on investment, future scalability, and even the minute calculations of overtime pay. Everything had to be accounted for with absolute precision. We were obsessed with revenue; we could not afford to lose. If we conducted market research, I was always calculating how much capital we could sink into a venture and how quickly we would see a return. My mind was trapped in a cycle of these metrics, every single hour of every single day. From the moment I founded Apple until the day I died, that was how I lived my life. And in the end? I left behind a name and a company, but I took absolutely nothing with me. What I did carry into the afterlife was a heavy burden of sins and the prospect of immeasurable, long-term retribution in the hells."
The Miracle of Transformation
"'Turning the tide'—that is a perfect way to describe the magical power of Practitioner Su. It is a Chinese phrase, and I am not sure when I began using these Chinese expressions to articulate my thoughts. No one taught me, yet they come to me so naturally, fitting the context perfectly. Perhaps in some past life, I had studied the Chinese language; that is entirely possible. Having experienced so much, I have learned that nothing is impossible.
Even the Demon Realm can be transformed by Practitioner Su. Following that, Chang Ren has been instrumental in converting the evil thoughts of every single demon-crowd into thoughts of Goodness. This means that the messages and influences now radiating from these beings are no longer harmful. They are no longer 'interference' or 'obstacles'; they have been redefined as 'purification' and 'assistance'. When you think about it, all the evil deeds previously committed by these demon-crowd Bodhisattvas are now being transformed into good deeds. Is that not absolutely inconceivable?
Imagine the implications for the human world: an influx of good thoughts, good deeds, good , and beautiful outcomes. What kind of world would that be? If things continue to develop smoothly, we might just create another Western Land of Ultimate Bliss right there on Earth. This is not a mere dream, because the existence of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre has already bridged the gap between the human world and the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. If this progress continues, the human world becoming another Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is not an impossibility. In that sense, calling Practitioner Su a 'saviour who is transforming the world' is not an exaggeration at all."
The Power of Namo Amituofo
"Chang Ren’s decision to turn back to the shore of has led him to drive the entire Demon Realm to wash away their past and take refuge under the seat of Namo Amituofo. This, too, was achieved through the influence of Practitioner Su. And everything Practitioner Su does is a reflection of her learning from Namo Amituofo. In this light, one could say that Practitioner Su is an emanation of Namo Amituofo herself; only with such profound skill could she change all of this.
People on the outside may not see it, may not know about it, or may have been told but refuse to believe or accept it. Yet, they are all benefiting from this work. This includes the reduction of the demon-crowd Bodhisattvas' brainwave control over humanity, the mitigation of negative magnetic field interference from mobile phones, computers, and other electronic devices, and the transformation of human hearts into states of kindness and . These are benefits that cannot be calculated, and they do not require a 'return on investment'—the benefits are shared by all. This work is happening continuously, without pause. To purify the human heart requires such steadfast perseverance and powerful, sustained effort.
Practitioner Su has also transformed the hearts of the Venerables and practitioners at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre into hearts of 'unconditional and shared suffering.' This is because this is Practitioner Su’s own heart. She hopes that everyone’s heart can be like hers, so that more sentient beings in this world can be saved. Her heart is focused solely on saving beings! I have seen it, Chang Ren has seen it, the demon-crowd Bodhisattvas have seen it, and the immeasurable, boundless sentient beings throughout the vastness of the Realm who come here seeking Spiritual Deliverance have seen it, too. The Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and ancestral masters have known this for a long time. That is why Practitioner Su was able to transform Chang Ren and the demon crowds. For a human being to do this—if it were not a Buddha or Bodhisattva manifesting in the world—it would be impossible.
Regardless, this scene is unfolding right before your eyes. I do not know how much longer it will last, or how much longer it can continue. I, Steve Jobs, hope that it will go on forever. I hope that humanity—no, not just humanity, but this entire world—will always have a lamp that never goes out, shining upon everyone. However, the physical body is subject to the constraints of time. One can extend it for a while, but not forever. That is why succession is so vital. This is the reason Practitioner Su works so diligently, day after day, without rest. She hopes so deeply that there will be successors who know what must be done, who possess the same skills to save the suffering beings of this world. She gives without asking for anything in return. She has not been moved by the assistance or participation of humanity, but she has moved us—the spirits who no longer have bodies. Think of how many countless beings have been saved by Practitioner Su’s skills and guided to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss!
I no longer have a body, so I cannot work in the human world. I can only rely on communicating with the Venerables and practitioners at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, sharing with everyone what I see here in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I want you to know about things you have not yet encountered, things existing in another dimension of space."
A New Life and a New Beginning
"Today, the demon-crowd Bodhisattvas are completely transformed. Because their original 'demon hearts' have been replaced with hearts of Goodness, they have undergone a total metamorphosis. They are different from yesterday; they carry an aura of kindness and gentleness. You would never recognise them as they were before.
I heard one demon-crowd Bodhisattva say, 'I am not used to this, but I quite like it.' Another responded, 'Me too, but I am sure we will get used to it after a while.' Some were astonished, saying to one another, 'How did you become like this? I don't even recognise you!' The other replied, 'You too! Why do you look like that? It doesn't quite suit you, but I suppose we will get used to it soon enough!' The demon-crowd Bodhisattvas are finding their new appearances fresh and different, yet they speak with joy and amusement. Hearing them, we feel a new vitality and a new life force. What a wonderful thing this is! This is what the power of great compassion looks like.
Practitioner Su, thank you for your guidance. I, Steve Jobs, will continue to follow you, living each new and meaningful day.
Written by Steve Jobs."
Namo Amituofo.
