If You Wish for the Dharma to Flourish, Monks Must Praise Monks
The First Letter from the Spirit of Venerable Wu Fan

Namo Amituofo. I am Wu Fan, or Venerable Wu Fan. I am currently sending this message from the of Ultimate Bliss to Venerable HaiZe at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. He has kindly written down my thoughts so that you may all see them. There is a direct path between Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre and the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
The Truth of Rebirth
It has been several years since I achieved rebirth in the Western Pure Land. At that time, it was indeed Practitioner Su who, during the , helped me reach this destination. I am aware that this event caused some discussion and dissatisfaction among my fellow practitioners. However, it is the truth. Even after all these years, some still doubt Practitioner Su’s cultivation or are unwilling to face the reality of it. Yet, this has not hindered Practitioner Su in the slightest. With a firm and unyielding will to seek the true self, Practitioner Su has continued to move forward. This is why, today, Practitioner Su has the ability to immeasurable and boundless sentient beings to the Western Pure Land. This is genuine cultivation, and the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are the witnesses.
The Power of Mind-Capacity
At Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, you can see evidence of the connection to the Western Pure Land everywhere. To have such achievements in one lifetime, to save so many spirits and lead them to the Western Pure Land, is a tremendous blessing for all beings. As members of the monastic community, we should feel joyful for the sake of all beings. Does our teacher not have a book titled: "If You Wish for the to Flourish, Monks Must Praise Monks"? I deeply feel that this statement is the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. However, in the human world, while people can speak of this truth, it is not always easy to put it into practice. When it happens to oneself, facing it, accepting it, and acting upon it is fraught with difficulty. This is what we call mind-capacity. The Pure Land path is a supreme Dharma. Only those with a vast mind-capacity can truly receive the benefits of the Dharma. This is even more true for those who have left the home life.
True Cultivation vs. Spiritual Attachment
I am speaking these words as one who now resides in the Western Pure Land. I have witnessed several times how Practitioner Su’s abilities have been dismissed as mere spirit mediumship. Because Practitioner Su is a lay practitioner, this genuine ability to lead beings to the Western Pure Land has been slandered, belittled, and met with indifference. Little do they know that the more this happens, the more it pushes Practitioner Su forward. This is not spirit mediumship. Spirit mediumship involves words or actions dictated by spiritual attachments. In contrast, supernatural powers are the natural manifestation of one's original abilities, which emerge during the process of purification and practice. The more one purifies, the more evident these abilities become. They cannot be compared to the phenomena of spirit mediumship.
A Call to Cherish Your Life
A true practitioner of the Western Pure Land will never retreat due to worldly interference, jealousy, or obstacles. Instead, they become even more courageous in the face of adversity. Finally, they achieve the goal of all practitioners: . Only then do they have the true ability to deliver sentient beings, rather than being led astray by them. Do you need the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to bear witness? Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju can be the witness. Today, Practitioner Su’s cultivation is such that it can lead spirits to the Western Pure Land. Those of us in the Western Pure Land know this clearly, but in the human world, people do not recognise this treasure. It is truly a pity.
The Path to Awakening
I offer my infinite gratitude to Practitioner Su. My and wisdom-life were saved by my teacher, Venerable Master Chin Kung, while I was in the human world. After my karmic ties in the world were exhausted, I was saved by Practitioner Su. Now, with the of the Buddha, Namo Amituofo is residing at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. As one who resides in the Western Pure Land, I must contribute to the affairs of the Western Pure Land. This is an opportunity that is difficult to encounter even in millions of years. The ability to help everyone be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is found right here at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. This is not an advertisement or a promotional piece; these are my sincere words. Vimalakirti, who appeared in the world at the same time as Shakyamuni Buddha, was another Buddha in the human world. Did he not also manifest as a lay practitioner? How do you know that there is not another such person appearing in the world today? Regardless, you must cherish your precious Dharma Body and wisdom-life. Life passes in the blink of an eye. If you do not reach the Western Pure Land, any of the six realms of existence could be your next destination.
A Sincere Repentance
Give yourself a chance! Come to Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre and see for yourself how these monastics and lay practitioners are developing their path to Awakening; how they walk step by step, leading spirits to the Western Pure Land with their feet firmly on the ground. Their efforts were once done in obscurity, but now they are truly manifest before everyone. Let them show you what true cultivation and true effort can achieve, such that Namo Amituofo is residing here. Observe their daily practice:

They begin these tasks at 1:30 AM and continue until 6:30 AM, when they have their morning meal. I feel ashamed when I think of my own past laziness, ignorance, and arrogance. I easily missed such a wonderful environment for studying the Pure Land and chanting the Buddha's name while I was by the side of the Venerable Master Chin Kung, which led me to suffer the pains of illness. I sincerely repent for all the negative I created in the past. These are my heartfelt words. If my fellow practitioners or those I have met in the past are blessed by the Buddha and have the affinity to see this text today, please believe me: the past is like flowing water. It is empty, illusory, and a dream. The present moment is the most real and important. Go to Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, and you will know that my words are true.
