Sent to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss — Ren Xiaobin (Ren Xiaojing's brother)

Lay Practitioner Ren Xiaobin:

I have now truly arrived at the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is a pure and dignified Buddha-land, and my heart is filled with deep emotion. Reflecting on the various aspects of my life and the changes that occurred after arriving at the Western Land of Dharma Nature, I never expected everything to happen so quickly. Whether good or bad, having experienced many things, my heart is now very peaceful and serene. This is because I have truly arrived at the Buddha's world and have been purified under the blessing of the Buddha's power.

I deeply cherish this opportunity; it is completely different from who I was before. After everyone arrives at the Buddha-land and receives purification, their spirits are elevated; furthermore, the sensations, temper, and bad habits of the former body are gone, all having vanished without a trace along with the passing of the body.

However, in the dust of the world, the spirit still carries various feelings. When I left the human world, it was quite sudden, so I was very lost, carrying anger and resentment in my heart; this intense state of mind caused me to enter the hells directly after death, where I suffered retribution in hell for several years.

Life in the hells was extremely painful; while undergoing retribution, my body seemed to endure the torture of a thousand cuts forever. After suffering retribution in hell for several years, I have finally received the compassionate salvation of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su, who brought me to the Western Land of Dharma Nature and placed me on a lotus seat. I am very grateful in my heart, and my spirit has slowly become clear.

I am deeply grateful to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su, and I am also very grateful to my good sister. She registered me for the Chao Du at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, which gave me the opportunity to leave suffering behind and gain happiness. This is not an easy thing to encounter. Looking across the world, only this temple in Australia can achieve this, because Practitioner Su possesses the skills to realise one's true nature and attain Buddhahood, which is how such a thing can be accomplished. I am very grateful for all of this in my heart.

Many changes have occurred in my life. Here, I sincerely want to tell my family, as well as all the friends and colleagues who know me: life in this world lasts only a few decades; please do not cling to any sensations of the body, nor be attached to your own personality. Changing the habits of this life early on will allow you to attain true freedom; this is my heartfelt counsel.

Because I have walked this path, I know that there are too many difficult things in life. Being able to encounter the Buddha now is everyone's blessings. Cherishing this blessing and walking the path well is the most important thing.

In the past, I did not receive true Buddhist education and did not understand many things, which is why I created karma and generated so much suffering. Now that I understand the principles, I want to share them with everyone. Let us listen to the sutras and hear the Dharma, and learn about the Buddhist education promoted by the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. Everyone will surely make progress on the path of practice and experience a different life.

Most importantly, it is true that the "spirit never dies." Therefore, do not think that everything done in the human world, whether good or bad, does not matter. In fact, everything is recorded clearly in the laws of karma and cause and effect. It is just that the time has not yet come, so the retribution has not yet been received; like me, when my time came, I left everyone and went to the hells to suffer punishment.

Having said so much, I sincerely hope that everyone will not follow my old path. Finally, I sincerely thank everyone.
