Targeting the Innocence of Childhood

This is a record of an interview with the spirit known as Mo Xiaozhang, a Milky Way demon who has existed for approximately 5.2 billion years. He sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia and now reflects upon his past actions and his subsequent transformation. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fa, on June 24, 2024.

Mo Xiaozhang speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I am Mo Xiaozhang. Childhood is incredibly significant for the development of human beings. Throughout their entire growth process, the experiences of childhood remain a constant influence; therefore, a person's childhood is of paramount importance. We, the demon crowds, are very well aware of this.

If a person's childhood is so vital to them, does that not imply that if we wish to destroy a person, we should simply begin our interference during their childhood? That would absolutely allow us to achieve twice the result with half the effort, helping us reach our goals much faster and destroy human beings one by one.

The Strategy of Total Destruction

Our goal is nothing less than the destruction of the Earth. In my five billion years of existence as a demon, I have already destroyed countless planets. To us, the demon crowds, this is not a difficult task. As long as we seize the right moment and grasp the key points, we can achieve our targets rapidly and bring about the swift annihilation of a planet.

This time, my target was the Earth. We discovered that it seemed not difficult at all, because the hearts of Earth's people are changing rapidly, and they are developing toward the darker side.

Why are the hearts of Earth's people moving in such a negative direction? It is because they are too selfish. Between nations, there is no interaction without profit; between individuals, there is no mutual benefit. The party that is always giving eventually stops, feeling that they are doing something foolish. Everyone and everything seems to be calculated, measured, and compared, with self-interest as the primary consideration. For the sake of this physical body, humans scheme and plan, fearing that they might lose, suffer a loss, or miss out on some benefit. In short, everything revolves around the self.

The Digital Infiltration

It is precisely because of this change in the human heart that we, the demon crowds, have been able to enter the Earth rapidly and in such large numbers. We intend to conquer the entire planet and obtain everything we desire.

Today, we have been operating on the internet for quite some time. Over these past few decades, our performance has been excellent; one could say that all our plans have been highly successful.

Initially, our targets were mostly humans in their thirties or forties, or perhaps slightly younger, in their twenties. But gradually, we discovered that the largest piece of the pie lies in the younger children. Those under ten, teenagers, and even those in their early twenties are the targets we are now actively pursuing. Once we have captured them, we will never let them go easily, because for every additional person we control, we have a greater chance of destroying the Earth.

The Voice Within the Screen

How do these children become our targets? And how do we control them? Perhaps you have already guessed—yes, we use the internet to attract them, and then we use the content within the internet to control them. All the children, teenagers, or young adults who are controlled are powerless to resist the voices within their hearts. That voice constantly commands them to keep playing, to remain addicted, and to be intoxicated by the virtual world.

Where does that voice come from? Is it their own voice, or is there other interference? Some of those voices are us, the demon crowds, interfering with them. We pinpoint a specific desire in their hearts, amplify it, and drive them to perform certain actions to satisfy that craving. If they lack the ability to discern what is right, they usually listen to our interfering voices and engage in behaviors that lead to obsession or addiction, which ultimately will surely harm them.

The Illusion of Victory

We know that the human body is extremely precious. Therefore, those who are addicted to the internet can be said to be rapidly destroying their own lives. In that addictive virtual space, even if one wins something or achieves victory many times, once they leave that computer screen, everything is empty; it does not exist at all. But the children who are addicted do not think that much. All they care about is the immediate pleasure. Once the immediate desire is satisfied, everything else is cast to the back of their minds; they do not think about the consequences.

The advice of adults sounds completely grating to these children. While they are in the midst of their addiction, no matter what anyone says to them, they cannot take it in, because our demonic power is also controlling them, and our power is far stronger than the nagging of their parents. So, naturally, our power prevails, gripping their Body-Mind-Spirit, allowing them to remain addicted to the virtual world of the internet and slowly destroy themselves.

The Vulnerability of the Young

I mentioned earlier that childhood experience is very important for human development, so now we have locked our targets onto young children. Children under the age of fifteen are our main focus, and we are constantly strengthening our demonic power to control them.

Nowadays, even three-year-olds have the opportunity to touch a mobile phone and watch the images on the screen. Therefore, controlling children under fifteen has become even easier. As long as this mobile phone exists, we can handle everything completely.

If a child's childhood is spent inside a mobile phone or computer, then their childhood will absolutely encounter problems. This problem stems from the fact that they have no opportunity to learn the correct way to interact with people, and they easily learn various violent behaviors or other incorrect concepts from the internet or games.

The Role of Parental Guidance

Usually, adults do not accompany their children while they use the internet, and children do not want adults sitting beside them watching, so they look at whatever they want without any restrictions or obstacles. Many young children actually do not understand anything, but the internet world has everything. It is very easy for them to see information, videos, or pictures that pique their interest, opening the hub of their curiosity and starting them on a treasure hunt on the internet.

Of course, not every child who uses the internet will have problems. Some children have self-control; they use it in moderation, limit their usage time, and do not easily click on or view bad or negative information. Such children certainly exist, and because they are not easily tempted and even go so far as to discern what information should or should not be viewed, it is not easy for us, the demon crowds, to interfere with them.

Usually, such children are raised by parents who know how to educate them. These parents understand how to use appropriate methods to teach their children, letting them know that there must be restraint in internet usage. Therefore, parental education is extremely important. Some parents do not know how to teach their children; they do not want their children to be addicted to the internet, but they only use harsh methods, usually resorting to verbal abuse. For the most part, children develop resentment toward such abusive methods from their parents and become even more disgusted with real life. Instead, this pushes the children further into the internet world, because they cannot hear the sound of their parents' scolding there, and they can freely enjoy themselves and do whatever they want.

The Trap of Reality

To make children even more invested in the internet world, we naturally make them increasingly hate the real world and real life, wanting only to play on the computer every day. It is very easy to make children feel this disgust, especially if we let them experience a little more stimulation, intoxication, joy, and excitement within the internet. If these feelings cannot be obtained in their real lives, or if they cannot get enough, then in order for their bodies to have these sensations, they will actively develop toward the computer and the internet.

Up to now, our control has been very successful; too many children have already become our puppets. Once children are controlled by us, they will never be the same as they were before, especially the purity of their heads and hearts, which has been changed or polluted to some degree.

The Defeat by Practitioner Su

For a long time, we have been working hard in the internet space. To our Demon Realm, this is a very fun thing, and compared to my five billion years of existence as a demon, these few short years do not count for anything at all.

However, we thought we could continue to do evil and control children, but who would have expected that one Practitioner Su would defeat our plans. Practitioner Su brought the Buddha-light and Buddha-power into this space. We, the demon crowds, did not anticipate this day. When our demonic power attempted to resist, it was utterly futile. In the end, many of us were captured and taken to the Western Land of Dharma Nature.

I have been listening to the Sutras and undergoing purification in the Dharma-Nature Land, and in such a short time, it has already changed me a great deal. I am very surprised that the Buddha’s teachings have such power, and I am also very surprised that there would come a time when I would repent.

Now, I am sincerely admitting my mistakes, and I sincerely want to change and make amends. I beg the Buddha to give me strength and opportunity. I will continuously purify oneself and change, and then follow the Buddha's thoughts to perform Chao Du for sentient beings, helping them to attain liberation and escape the cycle of rebirth."
