The Echoes of Suffering in a Changing World
Practitioner Su is filled with great , for the Buddha’s teachings must be propagated to save all beings. In the current age, the world is beset by disasters and calamities that have left the human heart in a state of profound anxiety. Everywhere one turns, there are cries of sorrow; every household lives in a state of daily fear. This transformation of the world did not occur in a single day. Because the human heart has not been nurtured by the goodness of the , it has become unstable. As the dimensions of time and space continue to shift, the human heart has drifted along with these changes, losing its original anchor.
A Gateway for the Propagation of the Dharma
Today, many nations across the globe have implemented strict border controls and travel restrictions. This is true even for Australia, where the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre is located. Practitioner Su earnestly hopes that Australia will soon open its borders, allowing people from Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, and other nations to enter the country as quickly as possible. The goal is to allow those who have a karmic affinity with the Buddha’s teachings to join the ranks of the temple in its mission to save the world. Together, they can contribute their resources and efforts to propagate the Dharma.
This is vital so that the unique Dharma lineage of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia may be passed down through the ages, benefiting future generations. We wish for every generation to hear the sound of the True Teachings, to cultivate and regulate their hearts, and to transform the state of the world. To this end, Practitioner Su has invited a vast assembly to join in this effort:
- Avalokiteshvara
- Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva
- The Pure Ocean-Wide Assembly of Bodhisattvas
- The ancestral masters of the Pure Land school
- The boundless Bodhisattvas of the universe
- All living creatures throughout heaven and earth
Together, this great assembly chants Namo Amituofo with sincere hearts, praying for the resumption of international flights, the removal of obstacles, the resolution of the pandemic, and the restoration of peace to the human heart.
Returning to the Universal Principles
Practitioner Su has even knelt to beseech the heavens and the earth to lend their strength, that the pandemic may be resolved and all flight paths restored to normalcy. This would provide the people with peace of mind and call back the appearance of tranquility. The reason this pandemic has become so rampant is that there has been a mutation within the human heart. People have acted outside of the Universal Principles, the Truth, and the Right Way, deviating from the correct path and losing the ability to remain on the right track. This distorted trend has become prevalent in the world, and as the world gradually loses the support of righteous energy, it becomes increasingly crooked and evil. The pandemic and its associated disasters have arisen in accordance with this deviation; it is a natural operation of the universe.
Practitioner Su, in his great compassion, seeks to rectify the human heart. He aims to guide those whose actions have strayed from the right path back into alignment. When everyone acts according to the Truth, the pandemic will naturally be resolved, and the original state of peace will be restored. When every person holds a pure heart and a clean mental note within, this purity, combined with right thought and right action, can transform the heavens and the earth. In such a state, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are even more able to bestow their and assistance.
Signs of an Auspicious Future
Now, under the visualization of Practitioner Su, auspicious signs have appeared in the heavens. It is certain that positive results will emerge in the near future. As the saying goes, sincerity leads to spiritual response. When the heart is pure and the heart is filled with Goodness, all ugly and broken states will naturally be transformed. Everything will be guided back to the Right Way, the world will enjoy peace and happiness, the Buddha’s teachings will be widely propagated, and we shall see the return of a peaceful and prosperous age.
