Moduke, an ancient demon with a history spanning 700.6 billion years, once held sway over a hidden stronghold in Sichuan, China. After being delivered by Practitioner Su, he now resides in the Western Dharma-Nature Land. This interview was recorded on March 24, 2026, by the chief writer, Shi Fa.

Moduke speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I, Moduke, have been waiting here in the Western Dharma-Nature Land for quite some time. Having this opportunity to be interviewed is truly a rare Causal Condition. As an Earth demon with a history of 700.6 billion years, I must admit that if it were not for Namo Amituofo telling me this figure, I would have no idea how long I had actually spent in the Demon Realm. Namo Amituofo is truly extraordinary; with a single glance, He discerned my exact age. Haha, and now, here I am, sitting on a lotus seat in the Western Dharma-Nature Land, listening to the Dharma and hearing the teachings."

The Hidden Depths of Earth

"As a native Earth demon, I have a profound understanding of this planet. Although I am not what you might call a 'trillion-year-old primordial demon,' I have, through various Causal Conditions, ventured beyond Earth to explore the demon realms in other spaces. Eventually, I returned to Earth. Firstly, because this is the place I am most familiar with. Secondly, after travelling through the cosmos, one comes to realise that you should never underestimate our little planet. The humans residing on Earth possess immense potential for development. To the demon crowds, Earth may be small, but it contains everything one could desire. Thus, I decided to settle down and develop my influence here on Earth."

"China, in particular, is a land of vital importance to the Earth. I knew this long ago, which is why I have been operating within China for so many years."

The Sichuan Stronghold

"My base of operations in China was Sichuan. Sichuanese people love spicy food, and my 'demon children and grandchildren' also enjoy feeding on the energy associated with that spice. We control humans primarily to harvest their energy, so 'loving spicy food' is just one way of describing it; in reality, it is a reflection of a specific personality type. As a native Earth demon, I never liked using the modern internet technology to control humans. Instead, I instructed my followers to integrate naturally with the people. There was no need for special stimuli. Because of this, my followers have remained as natural in their temperament as I am."

"Sichuan is famous for its cuisine and its beautiful scenery. Those who love fine food are under our influence, as are those who are drawn to the mountains and rivers. Many people feel that the pace of life in Sichuan is significantly slower than in other Chinese cities. In truth, the majority of the population there is under the control of myself and my followers. In the modern environment, we hardly need to do anything at all; people naturally align with our demon nature. This is something I discovered during my long tenure in Sichuan."

The Alarm Bells of Deliverance

"This time, Practitioner Su’s massive Chao Du in China truly sounded the alarm for the Chinese Demon Realm. After all, Practitioner Su has been delivering beings from the demon realms for a long time, but this specific focus on 'delivering China' felt particularly targeted. Indeed, every time Practitioner Su appears in China, his manifestations seem to fill the sky. When he radiates the Twelve Lights, it is as if every province in China is painted in gold. Most impressively, no matter where we demons hide—no matter how deep the space—Practitioner Su can find us. The most spectacular sight was the Twelve Lights shining upon the demon palaces, causing them to collapse and vanish without a trace. Here in the Western Dharma-Nature Land, I have seen so many demon palaces erased by the Buddha-light. Many demons were left bewildered, watching their magnificent, gold-adorned palaces suddenly disappear as if they were in a dream."

"My own palace was no exception. It was located in a hidden space near the famous Leshan Giant Buddha in Sichuan. Yes, who would have imagined that beneath the feet of the Buddha lay the headquarters of a 700-billion-year-old demon? For so many years, it had never been discovered. Until this recent deliverance of China’s provinces, Practitioner Su’s Buddha-eye pierced through it all, easily reducing it to nothingness. In that moment, I realised that the palace I had been so proud of was actually quite fragile. Haha, there was no time to think; I was simply sent into the Western Dharma-Nature Land by the Twelve Lights. From that day on, the world lost an old demon, and the Western Dharma-Nature Land gained a student of the Buddha."

The Boundless Compassion of Namo Amituofo

"Namo Amituofo is so great. To be honest, I did not understand this before. It was only after arriving here in the Western Dharma-Nature Land and seeing Practitioner Su lead Namo Amituofo to deliver sentient beings everywhere that I truly experienced the vastness of the Buddha’s compassion and power. So many beings have been saved and brought into the Western Dharma-Nature Land under Practitioner Su’s deliverance. It is truly beyond words. Every spirit is filled with joy upon seeing the Buddha-light. Seeing this scene, I am deeply moved."

"I hear that the salvation team is working tirelessly to bring Namo Amituofo to the forefront, hoping to open the way for the Buddha’s teachings to flourish in China. I know that the policies and attitudes of the Chinese authorities will have a significant impact. However, I see that everyone at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is full of confidence. Especially Practitioner Su; his conviction that the great Dharma of Hsiang Kuang can be propagated in China seems unshakable. His confidence makes me laugh—Practitioner Su is truly magnificent."

The Cost of Salvation

"Many demons in China, having had their stable lives disrupted by Practitioner Su—especially those whose long-established palaces were destroyed—are now searching for him like madmen. Practitioner Su’s physical body has suffered great harm because of this. Fortunately, I have seen him recover in a very short time; otherwise, we demons would have committed a grave sin indeed."

"We demons control humans to obtain energy. Now, after listening to Practitioner Su’s Dharma talks, I realise that in the Western Dharma-Nature Land established by him, energy is inexhaustible. No wonder I have been here for some time and have never felt my energy levels drop in the slightest. The Buddha-light here shines twenty-four hours a day. Wow! What an incredible environment. I am now enjoying it constantly. Why am I so blessed? I do not even know myself. I have always held the concept that 'if there is something good, it should be shared with everyone.' Now, I sincerely hope that more demons will follow in my footsteps, come to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre’s Western Dharma-Nature Land, and truly settle down in this pure, beautiful land of light!"

A Call to the Demon Realms

"We demons are actually suffering greatly. I did not know it when I was a demon, but now that I have shed my demon nature here in the Western Dharma-Nature Land, I can clearly see: we demons are all so miserable!"

"Over the past few thousand years, demons from outside Earth have begun to settle in China. They discovered the immense demon nature hidden within humanity and have been laying out their plans on a massive scale. Whether they are from the Dharma Realm, the Milky Way, the universe, or are ancient demons of different species, they are all present. These forces have been operating steadily in China for centuries, and even more intensely over the last one or two hundred years. On the surface, China appears calm, but this is the result of long-term management by many demon crowds; the reality is far from simple."

"Practitioner Su is deeply aware of this, which is why he has been vigorously delivering the demons in China. He knows that the demons in China are not just ordinary old demons; there are even older ones. There are not only Earth demons but also demons from other places. They have simply not been discovered yet, which does not mean they do not exist. Therefore, the demons delivered so far are by no means the only ones. The Path Forward

"I have observed that Practitioner Su’s deliverance of China has not yet reached its conclusion. Although very ancient demons have been unearthed, the influence of the demon crowds on Chinese soil is far deeper than that. One could say that Practitioner Su’s deliverance of China has only just begun. The fourfold assembly of the temple has also been affected by this; it is a price that must be paid. It depends on whether everyone has the same sincere heart as Practitioner Su—to remain steadfast in their vow to save sentient beings even while under attack by demon forces. Only by aligning with the Buddha-heart can one keep pace with Practitioner Su’s footsteps in delivering beings. Otherwise, if Practitioner Su continues to deliver China, the demon forces that emerge next will be even more complex and deep-seated."

"Watching Practitioner Su deliver the demon crowds of China every day is a joy to behold. Wow, so many demons have been saved by him and brought to the Western Dharma-Nature Land! My heart is filled with joy. Not to mention other places, but in my original stronghold—Sichuan Province—just near the Leshan Giant Buddha, so many demons have been rescued by Practitioner Su. Even in a place where a Great Buddha resides, demons were still circling nearby. It can only be said that China truly lacks the genuine Buddha’s teachings, so the Buddha naturally does not remain in China. "As for the first-tier cities like Beijing and Nanjing, there is no need to even mention them; the demon crowds there are unimaginably dense! The magnetic field of China has been significantly purified due to Practitioner Su’s massive deliverance. This is a tremendous help to the Chinese people."
